Can’t we just give Australia a bit of credit for bowling so well yesterday and this morning, meaning we’ve found it so difficult to score? Stokes is a naturally attacking player yet he’s taken over 80 balls to get into double figures. In this situation it absolutely has to be safety first but punish the bad ball.
 
Excellent intent by Bairstow. I just hope he doesn’t get carried away by playing at deliveries he doesn’t need to.

Well at the start of the innings I said I'd get excited if we got 200-2. We haven't quite managed that.

Stokes is currently on 18 off 94 balls. Hardly Pietersen-esque.
Root is nothing like Pietersen.
Bairstow is nothing like Pietersen.
You've now accepted Denly isn't like Pietersen because he is "county cowpat"

Roy, Stokes, Bairstow and Buttler are naturally attacking players but that’s where the similarities with Pietersen end.

With the possible exception of de Villiers, Pietersen was arguably the most talented batsman of his generation.

He should have broken all kinds of records. He was that good.

Gutted our game is going to clash with a couple of hours of cricket. Would think we’ll need around 110 after lunch. About 28 overs whilst our game is on, should knock it off if we don’t lose too many wickets
