They don’t over rule the fucking refs Karen. They haven’t done so once this season on penalty decisions, for any team.
What is the f*cking point of it then?

It's supposed to cancel out 'clear and obvious errors', as the Silva penalty shout was. If the 'unofficial' policy is to 'never' disagree with the on field referee (as it appears to be), there is no point to VAR, unless it is being used to look for reasons not to give goals for certain teams.

The FA couldn't have made the implementation of VAR look any more corrupt if they'd tried.
 
It’s been discussed at ridiculous length in the var thread.

Var is very unlikely to ever over rule a ref on a subjective decision like a penalty. It’s not happened once in the league this season.
I feel like this needs to be saved because you know the first chance they have to deny points for City they'll give one the other way.
