Plenty mate and I will laugh away. One of the only things people on the remain side had was to insult, degrade and belittle millions of people for the last two years - it’s more then Justified. You sound quite agitated by it.

I’m sure your in your bunker now. I know I am - have the swarms of locusts appear yet ? Or the 100s of thousands of job losses happened yet. The end is coming ;)

Joking about thousands of people who are about to lose their jobs and some who already have just makes you a see you next Tuesday mate.

I’m for leaving the EU if we can do so with a deal, that will ensure thousands of livelihoods aren’t ruined.

Simple question, A, B, or C.

Does Northern Ireland:
A. "Belong" to the UK
B. "Belong" to Ireland
C. Neither

A part of that link here shows why we mustn’t return to the 1970’s and we must uphold the GFA at every opportunity-

The civil authorities were prepared for violence on polling day. They had put in place mobile polling stations which could be rushed into use if there was bomb damage to scheduled poll buildings.[4] Two days before the referendum a British soldier, Guardsman Anton Brown of the 2nd Battalion, Coldstream Guards was shot dead in Belfast as the army searched for weapons and explosives which could be used to disrupt the upcoming referendum.[4]

In response to the referendum, the Provisional Irish Republican Army planted four car bombs in London that day, two of which went off, causing one death and injuring 200.[5]

That... wasn't the purpose for linking it, but knock yourself out.

We're swerving Houston because I've heard it's wank. Going to Dallas, principally to take in an NFL game.
Houston is wank, and ungodly hot/humid, even in September, so good decision.

I am not a fan of American Football, otherwise I imagine Dallas would have been more enjoyable, to be sure.

I hope you have a great time on your travels!

If you have time, and like BBQ, go to Leroy & Lewis in Austin (on aptly named Pickle Rd). Best “real” offerings in the city IMHO. Be mindful of the flow, though — they are bloody ruthless.

Oh, and the British Bulldog is a decent place to watch matches in Denver (watched one of ours two years ago there, with a few American blues and another manc that was also there on holiday).

Cool...so can we leave please? If you know anything of this "referendum" and the "real" reason it was called and the fact that it was boycotted by a large part of the community, you'll know it was a bullshit ploy....and we all know what happened for the next 30 years.

We know referendums are very important to a lot of people, so the next referendum that followed, which actually had a HUGE turnout produced a very significant outcome, the Good Friday Agreement. In there it states that we must be consulted about any constitutional change to NI.....Brexit is about to have a big constitutional impact.

We best honour that referendum first...only fair? no?

So yeah, NI doesnt "belong" to the UK, but you sure as hell think its does when you ignore us.

No, because my answer is C, which I why I gave that answer in the first place. NI can choose whatever and whoever it wants to be a part of, with no complaints from me. Rejoin Ireland? Cool. Remain with Britain? Cool. Out of respect of the people of NI, I don't consider it to "belong" to either "territory", not without consent.

If you're angry about the Government's attitude towards NI, take it up with them; I don't agree with their stance. I still have no idea why you responded to this, if that's the case.

It’s actually quite funny seeing all the remainers in complete meltdown. The funniest hearing cries of ‘ it’s a dictatorship’. The irony of that when they don’t want to respect a democratic vote in the first place

You believe by-passing Parliament is a good idea for one person to enforce his, not the peoples, will? You don't even know what his endgame is so be careful what you wish for.

Regardless of the violence that could erupt? "Cool".

Yep, he repeated that the best way to leave was for a party to put forward a manifesto detailing how and would have to win a GE on that basis. Interestingly he also thought UKIP were like “Dad’s Army” and a bit of a joke.
To be fair, nearly everyone that I knew thought they were, as well. I was a bit more apprehensive, not because I had any special expertise or knowledge, but because Spain has a long (fairly recent) history with this sort of movement and so I know how quickly it can go from “they’ll never gain power, people are too intelligent for that” to “how has this happened, what are we to do now!?”

And it is not like we do not also have history to draw upon, as well, which is why I was always unsettled by how quickly UKIP (and parallel groups) were dismissed early on.

Because we cant just leave...we cant decide our fate as you are about to take us out of the EU, which the majority of NI dont want AND essentially cant/shouldnt happen as we have to decide for ourselves. The UK government agreed this in 1998.

If you can not see the danger in what Johnson has done you are with all respect a fucking idiot.

And I didn't vote remain.

I'm not agitated at all. I am one of those people that make money when the £ and € tank.

Not losing job is NOT a benefit of leaving. At this stage, what are your top 5 measurable reasons for leaving? I will go back to what Cabinet Ministers have said, Farms will close due to tariff increase and business will close, albeit with a heavy heart, but close nonetheless. Everything we buy(and we will need to import as we won't have anything left here) will be more expensive due to the low £

But let's say we do leave with no-deal. Then what? Withhold £32billion(1% of national expenditure) on the strength of that will make the EU talk trade with us. It won't, nor will it look good for the UK to withhold agreed debts

Top 5 measurable benefits. I'll start off:
1) less immigrants, from the EU at least. We will still need people to do the jobs and Indians work for less than Germans so there is a potential for wage supression. That will have the bosses laughing though and I know you like a giggle.....
2) We will finally be rid of Scotland
3) Potentially rid of Northern Ireland
4) We will be able to fish more, apparently, but won't have anyone to sell to so not sure if that one counts
5) Passports will be blue. Not City blue, but close enough

Rule Britannia and all that
