Well then tell that to all those MPs who met up yesterday to block no deal. Tell them to vote for the only deal on the table the eu will give us and we leave with a deal.
I think you are spot on. BJ has played a blinder, he'll end up getting cross-party support for a very slightly modified WA as a 'least worst' option. I'm no fan of this btw, but BJ then gets to go to a GE with all of Parliament to blame if the country goes to the dogs so reducing damage to both the Tories and himself. If the economy doesn't tank and brexit is fine. I'm sure he won't then hesitate to take personal credit for delivering it.

Not just ‘a man’ but the Speaker.

Also a country at war with itself, a Parliament at war with itself, a PM elected by 140,000 voters suspending Parliament voted for by the people. You reckon this is ending well for any of us?
Well - just catching up having been out - seems a lot of pages to go

But before I left I was thinking there was at last a chance of it ending well

Probably the rebel alliance have pulled their styming finger out my now

Most definitely. You must be prepared and demonstrate that you will leave with no deal to get a decent deal. Let's be honest during Mays premiership our negotiations were pitiful. Not much more than Cameron's pathetic efforts. She wasted three years.

Out of interest,do you have experience in negotiation in either international trade or foreign policy?

And the near 500 MP’s who voted for the law that says we leave with no deal.

Yeah but to be fair they didn’t know what they were voting for. These MPs voted for no deal for different reasons so it doesn’t really count.

There are different types of no deal so you can’t really accept that as a clear vote.

Equally since they voted for no deal things have changed. I mean when they voted no deal who would have thought mourinho would have been sacked.

Is it too much to ask for a PM with a vision and not a plan to blame others if it goes to shit?

It wouldnt surprise me if there are announcements in the next few weeks probably about lowering corporation tax?

So you don’t think we should look at the bigger picture, carry on.

To look at the bigger picture you need to look at the specifics as to why industries are doing well and others not. That literally is the bigger picture, trying to understand what causes are.

Yes, I do. They value members and the Single Market more than jobs. If they give up the SM, they have nothing

But putting that to one side. They didn’t vote for a recession and if we go out with no-deal, that is likely to happen to us, now that is bizarre. The EU can sell this to its members as the UK’s fault - no one is buying it’s the EU’s fault. No-deal is not the end point for the UK, it’s the starting point but we will be starting neck deep in shit and the only way to get out of the shit would be to agree with what’s on the table now

But like I said, I think Johnson will sprinkle glitter on the turd and pass it but as a country we are a laughing stock.
So you dont think the EU have any say over the deal they want? What a strange thought ? Takes two parties to negotiate a deal and nothing the EU have offered has been acceptable to the UK parliament.

Fucking hilarious this thread.
Lots of tumescent leavers not bothering to hide their excitement that their idiotic hero is doing his best to set the country back 40 years. Even those that have previously expressed a preference for a soft Brexit are joining in the party. Cult like behaviour but the last people to find out about the cult are usually the members themselves. This is absolutely no different to Trump supporters in the US sticking to their man in spite of all the evidence that he’s a dangerously stupid president.
I’m almost at the point of thinking fuck it let’s have No Deal as I am in the reasonably fortunate position of being well off enough to do ok afterwards even if my job goes. It would be funny to see those idiotic geriatric fools who support this shit start moaning that their pensions have been frozen and everything costs twice as much. However it would also plunge a lot of people into poverty through no fault of their own which isn’t really what I’d like to see.
But anyway, it’s just like the millennium bug innit. Fuss about nothing.

So why didn’t your report show any increases, when I said carry on, I should have said carry on without me, you’re obviously too myopic to have a debate with, good night.

That’s a UK problem. I’d suggest the reason none have been acceptable is because they all leave us worse off - unfortunately for the UK, Leaving is not as good as staying so nothing brought back will get voted through on its merit. It will only get voted through as it’s the least bad option
