Trust you, Gaylord.

Ah - there it is. The UK being undermined "from within".

Yoi know, we've had all the faux outrage from Leavers about pretending you're all being called thick racists, yet implying Remainers are traitors is fair comment.
TBF - I think that is just gratituious bollocks Vic.

Your choice - but FFS - please don't take refuge in the pack

Smashing the Tories too bits now ............. looking forward to the GE where Boris Johnsons preferred candidate will be up against a respected sitting MP forced to stand as an independent candidate and a BP candidate................"into the valley of death"

Latest on the Rebel Alliance. Not entirely sure confirming that the Govt has no official majority is the best move before it suspends Parliament because it -er- has no working majority.

‘Confirmed: No10 has decided Philip Hammond, David Gauke, Dominic Grieve and co will have the Conservative whip withdrawn if they do not vote with the government on Tuesday’

According to the BBC it is in preparation for an October election for which they would be unsuitable candidates.

Thus making the Government a minority government...........Johnson is without doubt leading a death cult..........prepared to put a gun to his government's head over Brexit and gambling that this move will make him so popular he can call a GE - crash out of the EU and win a majority doing away with the need for 10 DUP seats and replacing those above - he has taken leave of his senses....thankfully.

Interesting. We will see if they value their place on the gravy train more than their pro-eu convictions.

I think Grieve definitely won't. Not sure about any of the others. By the law of averages, some might be ready to hang their boots up anyway, or realise the game, for them, is nearly up; that will have a bearing on their disposition towards any voting.

This is the interesting and oversimplified take that an opposition to no deal is pro-Eu.

It seems that many now have shifted towards the idea that no deal is the only true Brexit and it’s not. It’s the one we were told wouldn’t ever happen and that’s why a vote to leave wasn’t dangerous.

For example Ken Clarke actually put forward a motion of leaving the EU and wanted the house to back it.

Labour and Momentum must be looking on in envy at the way Johnson and co are seeking to purge the Tory party of unbelievers. Not so much a broad church but a narrow sect.

Most ex-MPs don't leave the gravy train. Many would make more money without all that pesky having to spend time with constituents.
