Me being a cynical **** I wonder if this almighty rush to get Brexit done and dusted at any cost and by any means has anything to do with the fact that this year the EU are applying the anti-tax avoidance directive.

If you are rich, you want Brexit now, it saves you a few quid. After all if that money was shared out everyone would benefit, but it would make the money sad :(
Of course it is.

It always has been, for a select few.

I suppose that's what confused Johnson when he said we could have our cake and eat it.

I've been away for a few days so have missed the Government's latest propaganda campaign. "Get Ready For Brexit" - 100 million pounds! Think about that. Is it all worth it, really?
Can’t work out why they need to spend £100 million if it’s going to be nothing but positive news from the day we leave ?

I was trying to help with the link, I have watched the documentary and I didn't say it was Verhofstadt. Why do you think it was made up again and why were they just joking if it wasn't - what's your point friend?
Yes you did. Seems to be a Leaver trait to tell easily disprovable lies.
Just watching All Out Politics on Sky, interview with Lode Desmet, author of Blind Man's Brexit made into the BBC4 Documentary Behind Closed Doors shown earlier this year. Just showed a clip of Verhofstadt and his mates celebrating the WA - "we managed it, after 2 years we kicked them out on our terms and conditions - we finally turned them into a colony - our plan from the start." Boulton then observes - "so the wicked Europeans were trying to do us in all along ....a punishment deal?" Such a sense of humour these chaps - "Quite true, just a lighthearted but accurate description of what happened" was the reply.

It has always been about lowering tax and facilitating tax scamming.

The drivers for brexit have been the right wing press and they are all owned by tax dodgers. The dark funding that stands behind the likes of Boris/Farage is all coming from tax dodgers.

There are literally no other group(s) that benefits other than the tax dodgers. There is no single benefit that any of us will realise.

I totally understand, the fact that 0.0000754% of the EU population voted for the President of the EU annoys me as well comrade.
Apparently, the convicted negligent Ursula Von De Leyen was the only candidate.

But as the 'Presidents' are appointed by your duly elected Prime Minister and are unable to cast a vote in the Eu Parliament .... you're ok with that aren't you?

That's what this has all been about for me, following on from the Panama papers. You should be one of the wealthiest nations in the world but you're skint as so many tax havens have free access to your economy.

I'd ask for a link but you'd never supply it, so I won't bother.

Boris the Tory remainer playing a blinder here.

Knows the remain alliance will win the vote tomorrow, talks up bringing forward a GE, knowing full well the commons won't vote in sufficient numbers for it, and guess what? Brexit kicked into the long grass. Again. And he can turn around and say "I tried, I really tried"

Millions of votes from the working classes ignored, Chablis and Roquefort consumed in record quantities all over the middle class suburbs and boardrooms of the nation, and the Tories can go back to blaming the EU for everything, safe in the knowledge they'll never have to actually leave.

Corbyn can go back to being heckler-in-chief for a few more years before being quietly replaced with yet another right wing labour leader and taking his seat in the lord's "to continue the fight for working people"

I've just been sick in my mouth as I type this as it's hit me that I'll now have to put up with being called a thick northern racist (by avowed white supremacists to make it even more hilarious) for another 40 years.
