Let's face it mate most punters on here know fcuk all about fcuk all about these injuries and yet they gob off as if they are experts.
Best simply to wait for the official announcement from the club.

They're meant to minimize lateral movement. While I'm sure there could be other uses they wouldn't do shit for say, a dislocated kneecap or some of the other things that were speculated.

Edit: I'm wrong, probably needs amputation

Beg to differ but knee braces most definitely used for knee cap dislocation.
