BBC reckon the Tory Lords will be called off the rebel bill in a deal for a repeat of tonight's motion for an early election on Monday.

Hmmmmm - wasn't there another recent PM who was criticised by people like Johnson for bringing the same motion back to the house time and time again?

I think since it passed but without the required majority would enable it to be brought back to achieve the threshold under the FTPA.
It'll just be beaten on Monday if the opposition turn up, don't see what Johnson hopes to gain from that. His best hope of achieving his aims is filbusturing in the HOL right now, his bluff has been well and truly called.

It won't be presented again unless they strike a deal. Backstairs bartering will be going on, I think the SNP can't wait after seeing recent polls and they hold the balance of power.

The SNP don't in this particular incidence as they only get him up to 334 MPs, 99 short of what's needed. They're also onto Bojo's intent to call the election after no deal has happened.
