Does Barry only play painters nowadays?

He's not a bad artist himself....trained by Tim Wright (who did portraits of Spall that were displayed at the BP Portrait awards) .... apparently when Spall takes on a historical role he researches it in very fine detail and becomes immersed in the character. So when he took on the role of Turner he also learned how to paint.)

Better Watch Out ... The luvvies only gave it 7/10 and I have no idea why this comedy film noir did not get up to it's deserved potential. Maybe because it wasn't dubbed/subtitled or featured a cameo performance from Woody Allen but anyway we deemed it to be an excellent watch scoring it a massive 8.5/10.

Watched a Clint Eastwood film called mule last night. Was OK,watchalble at least. 6.5/10

German film (subtitled).

1984, East Berlin, Stasi surveillance drama. Very good.
