Got rid, I hope, but how do I generate regrowth of my grass? Re-seed? Or sit and hope?

Re seed it. September is the time of year to do it as well but make sure you cover the seeds with a bit of earth otherwise the pigeons will think it is their birthday. Get good quality seed, for a few pennies more it is well worth it. don't tread on it or cut that part of the lawn until it is well established.

Friends of ours had theirs done and it cost around £25k. That included driveway too and their garden a reasonable size. He did a nice job but it ain’t cheap.

Guy I know has just had his garden landscaped for £60k!! What’s the difference between a gardener and a landscape gardener .... about £30/hr!

Getting a lot of pleasure from working in my garden especially looking after the lawn, i have been reading up a lot on lawn care and am going to look at leveling it next year after aerating it. Even looking at getting a hand push cylinder mover.
