That England midfield is woeful. Don’t think Rice is good enough against the best but there’s not many options in the holding midfield role. The two pronged holding role makes us conpletely bankrupt of ideas in midfield, with Henderson being the very epitome of a clogger. Barkley I’ve less issue with being in the side but he very often flatters to deceive. Crazy Maddison isn’t getting a game
