Missing wall - building advice

Gable walls are known to have issues especially when they take most of the weather blowing at them.

Undermines the mortar and ultimately the bricks.


Damp penetration is a bastard. Can't believe I just typed that.
don't mind a bit of damp penetration.

project manager me , will also want on of these on site with wifi gas etc but ,will happy make the ground "crew" breakfast ever day square sausage eggs and all the business, looks like Jamiecav will be geting

I went to viewing, several others there, builders I think.

Other gable wall is bowing.

Beautiful location but it's not for me. Too much to undertake i reckon

If your not going for it give us a bit of info ,location,price . Cheers ,ps go to Scotland quite a lot that's why the interest,sounds like a lot to take on .

I'm not a builder, nor developer, but could that not just be from the addedd stress from the lack of a supporting wall at t'other end?

It could be that, but auction is tomorrow and I cant get to glasgow. So had to decide yesterday for budding by proxy.
