OK - so have a referendum on Remain, leave without a deal, or Remain with a deal * and see if you can get a majority. Parliament represents the voters.

* Give us three more years while you argue amongst yourselves what Deal would be best. Go on - try it. MB will go for EFTA, you'll go for anything no matter what damage to the GFA, one of you will accept the obvious solution that only he has thought of because everyone else is a sycophant, et cetera et cetera.

Little point in having referendums as the losers never accept the result.

"If"

3 years of remain arguments based on if', could and maybe.

I am confident a deal will be agreed and then its down to our politicians.

Sacking it off as you put it is simply not an option.
Very calm posting in the face of stubbornness and provocation - well done mate

I have just posted what I see as a version of what could/would happen if the sycophants can be restrained

The EU choice for us (failing cancelling Brexit altogether) we still pay extortionate amounts for access to their market and can't trade independently with countries outside the EU on better terms than they do. That's better?
Why not? "We could be like Norway..." (Farage)

Along with others of all parties and helped by ridiculous numbers of abstentions.

Every single vote the same.

All good at telling us what they wont accept but none of them able to tell us what they will.

You just said we should have abstained if we didn't like having to have a referendum. Make your mind up.

I didn't.

I said you should have made it clear you wouldn't vote "PRE" ref.

You didn't though as it was seen as an easy win so no worries.

Now you have lost its lets double or quits followed by best of 3,5,7 until you win at which point you pick your ball up and fuck off home.

Pity with that strategy is all your mates can see you for what you are and have refused to play with you anymore.

Absolutely no point to referendums that don’t give a definitive answer. This one didn’t, it asked the government to try and negotiate a deal no one could agree on the shape or outcome of, voters nor politicians
There shouldn't have been a referendum until the final deal was agreed or a confirmation referendum on the final deal should have always been part of the procedure from the start. Which is probably what we’ll end up with sooner or later.

You need to deal with the reality that the referendum was held no matter how undesirable and promises were made that the result would be honoured.

Why ? The consequences of a bad referendum are there for all to see. Its got us where we are. The way out is the way out like it or don’t not my problem.

Promises were made (lies were told) about what the result would mean. I'm happy with not honouring the result on the basis that the promises were not honoured.

It did.

Leave the EU.

I know you think that's somewhat confusing but i didn't and still dont now.

Scots will go again soon enough and it will once again be remain in the UK or leave the UK.

My guess is the SNP will think its very clear if they win.

That is to be expected if you abandon respect for the democratic process on the grounds that your own views were in a minority. (Lies were told on both sides, the electorate took them in account.)
