I reckon with the right manager and a lower profile he could be an excellent player.

Problem is he is allowed to act like a pop star at the swamp and the present buffoon in charge probably lets him use his parking space at Carrington just to try and keep him happy.

I just don't see it. All my mates say is that he won the world cup. Fair enough but the standard of international football is crap and Modric handed his arse to him in that final. France were ridiculously lucky.

Hes a show pony and I have never seen him control or dominate a midfield against a good team. His stats are padded to fuck. He got a load of assists for one yard passes while a team mate pot shotted from 20 odd yards. Then he got a load of penalties.

He is no where near one of the top players in the premier league, never mind the world.

All I hear is rags making excuses for him and all they say is "He could be if......"

One of his assists last season came from cross that hit him on the back and a team mate slotted the deflection in from close range.

Yeah .. Yeah.. Yeah, but what about the Dabbin'? He's ace at that, even (big) Jesse said so.. and his hair, now that's nice.. £600K per week, fcuk that, he's worth double.. If Edwoodwoodwood doesn't sign him up, he'll be off, he could stand in for that 16 year old lad whilst he's doing his exams at Rochdale!
