Why are you refusing to acknowlegde that they are not "MY PEOPLE" as you keep putting it?

If you're someone who wishes to leave with no deal, then we don't share the same views on brexit. If you're someone who wants to remain by overturning the result, we don't share the same views on brexit. You must have some ulterior motive for wanting to associate people together.

They are absolutely 'your people'.

You have joined with them, by voting to make the rest of us leave the EU, against our will.

What difference has it made to us, who wanted to remain, that you don't agree on how to leave ? All that does, is annoy us more, as we knew that from day 1, it was a con job.

We get no say, even though it has now been proven, that to people such as yourself, Brexit means something completely different, than to Boris Johnson & Farage. You & others like you, chose their side over ours.

Without the votes of people like yourself, it's likely they would not have a majority & this shit wouldn't be happening.

Your position, is closer to ours than to theirs, but it doesn't matter, you've helped put them in charge & we have to live with it.

Now you are pretending to 'compromise' by pretending you are offering them a Brexit hey would rather die, than sign up to & would probably rather remain in fact.

You are not 'compromising' on anything. You are doing exactly the same as us: hoping this fucking shitshow ends up not as bad as it could be & the 'deal' agreed suits you.

He also said he had no interest to declare. Let's keep it balanced please.

Give over. Interest means family and friends. Johnson clearly had a friendship with her. He clearly had a personal interest. How far that ‘personal interest’ extended may be open to debate (spoiler. It isn’t) but it’s irrelevant to the code of conduct.

Be sure to wash the wax off the end of your fingers, won't you.

He said he fully complied with the code, not a statement to be aired publicly without the prior approval by his lawyers I would expect.

It seems the trend with Johnson to not sign required documents that could make him culpable, only raising the question why he did't follow normal procedure. Tbh looks like Johnson is also going to loose this one badly.

Ironicly, it might perhaps come to it that posterity will say that he stopped Brexit himself simply by being such a bad and devisive PM.

You voted for Farage’s party in the EuroParl election. That puts you firmly in their camp. The fact you want to compromise means fuck all if you vote for Farage. Actions speak louder than words.

I feel like Michael Oliver refereeing a City game here - but this is just a cynical piece of political opportunism which certainly won't get past the police referral - misconduct in public office for a serving PM is about as likely as impeachment.

Wether the law will be applied to it's fullest realisticly isn't something i can easily judge, but it does seem he did break it again. There seems to be some naivity surrounding johnson as to the kind of things he should get away with as the prorogation case showed, so perhaps soon we will have Johnson complaining again that "new legal precedents have been set".

I'm not the one worrying about people criticising this corrupt fucking monster tbf.

I'm assuming that must make you 'feel better' having done your bit.
I just find it rather amusing the outrage and indignation about a man with whom you just happen to have completely opposing political view, who also happens to have an approval rating that trounces that of Corbyn. And who leads a party which is >10 points ahead in every poll.

I'm sure it sticks in the craw plenty.

Of course if the tables were turned, you'd be equality indignant about Corbyn and some alleged transgressions, of course you would.

He's absolutely right and had very good reasons to complain. It was indeed a "revolutionary" judgment converting convention into common law and prescribing new limits of a pregogative power. More importantly the opposition parties invited the courts in to politically supervise the executive by cynically abdicating their own constitutional obligation to allow a GE.
