Zagreb fans behaviour

For those that don't know the Croations had a Division at Stalingrad fighting for Hitler against the Russians......

Croatia went pretty right in last few years again. It was bit better while they were at the gates of EU, they behaved well to show they are good enough for it, but once they went in and right nationalists formed Government while doing confessions to pretty far right and war veterans, it's a bit of a shit country again.

It got quite ugly v Spurs when our injury time goal was ruled out. It looked like it was going to blow last night at times. The thing I noticed is how many female stewards and older male stewards amongst the thin yellow lines of divide each side of opposition fans. If it does kick off then I feel for the stewards who are only trying to do their jobs(when not bullying old guys to sit down) and contain those hellbent on causing trouble. It's only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt.

Hopefully UEFA will ban Zagreb fans from future group stage games as many of them put shame on their club(and decent fans) in their thuggish behaviour last night.

It must be livelier than I thought when they meet lol.

Hajduk Split fans are utter ****s. Far right nationalists and they make problems outside of football too. Had few attacks on Serb minority and season workers recently. Regularly displaying nationalist, even nazi banners. Dinamo fans are no flowers, but they are liberals compared to Torcida Split.

So the cops should have waded in with flailing batons, and Showsec lifted the oldest most vulnerable looking guy for standing up?(like they have previously)
Nah mate they should just stand there and let a bunch of cunnts throw seats and piss, spit all over people and make nazi salutes

Seems it is still a tinder box in the Balkans. Such a shame as it's a great part of the world. Seems to me that all those who bang on about racism in the uk constantly are clueless.

Makes you wonder how Tito kept a lid on it for so long.

Fear (same as Saddam)

Didn’t get a picture of it but the Zagreb fans seem to holding up a picture of someone with a red line through it.
Don’t expect it but UEFA should look into it as I guess it was political.

I thought I saw an Islamic moon and star on that "forbidden" sign but the camera soon panned away and I do confess my eyesight may have been slightly off.

Wait till atalanta come they are quite notorious too caused trouble at Everton

Atalanta fans were joined by Eintracht Frankfurt fans that night and brawled with mainly bouncers in the city centre. They are like a left wing Millwall and Everton restricted their allocation as they were buying up tickets in home sections.

I noticed at least half a dozen at the front of the middle tier straddling the advertising hoarding. Had they scored I think there would have been a surge and several of them would have fallen onto their thugs below. And had that happened then UEFA would be duly obliged to close the stadium for MCFC failing to keep them safe: /

Just before Kick off, the fans in 2nd tier stormed the front of the stand to get to the front of it. There was a bout 4/5 stewards stood on row 1 who had to make a sharp exit for there safety & then the Zagreb fans ripped up the netting that was over Row 2.

No risk of them scoring.
