R.I.P. Eric. I don’t really know how the Club was run before Swales but he sounds like a good guy.

And his grandfather - 3 generations of influence. Our club’s royal family providing consistent leadership until Swales et al smashed it all to pieces.Both him and his father did a wonderful job for the club.

A story goes that Albert went into the City dressing room after the FA Cup final win against Birmingham, congratulated the team for a wonderful display stating the club had earned a substantial amount of money and would now be able to go out and buy some really decent players!!! Good old Albert.
