Watford got totally shafted today. VAR across all games has been an absolute joke

Remember Cardiff v Chelsea last season ? one team not wanted in the money spinning prem, the other the darling boys. One of the most rigged matches I have ever seen. It seems to be happening again. Spuds, new stadium an all that, need help, no problem. That's what VAR is for.

It’s ok saying, human error but when it’s consistent, sack the lot of them then. Incompetence in a normal company isn’t usually tolerated. Steps are in place to ensure things run smoothly.

It’s not VAR killing the game, it’s the so called referees that are. Now that they’re armed with VAR, the impact feels worse. Feel bad for Watford

It’s not even being accused of being biased in favour of your own team when the pitch ref and VAR fucks us over,it’s clear and obvious for all to see with other teams as well,can’t keep using the excuse teething problems it’s corrupt as fuck,never has football been more open to fixing results and even correct scores if need be with VAR now ..

You would think the Premier league itself would demand PiGMOL change what they are doing and how they use VAR as they are clearly not doing anything right.

Its bent beyond belief and Var has made it much easier for them. But how on earth can they miss decisions. You could put a 12 year old in the Var room, let them watch the slowed down replay and ask them if the ball hit his arm, or did he stamp on his foot and they would say yes. How on earth then can 2 officials not over rule it and call it for what it was

I know how you feel mate, a part of me has died this season, the game I've loved since being a kid is slowly disintegrating before my eyes.

3 years ago it died for me-supposedly pre Var. ...Sir Anthony Taylor ref .City v Chelsea ...goes to send Luiz off..talks into ear peice to 'persons unkown' and changes his mind ..yellow card .not red..

Look at it realistically, the premier league cash cow has been shafted too. The palace game I remember they had a stone wall penalty ignored. Var ignored it too. The referees are totally incompetent. I think there is a little bias too involved in city/Liverpool as that is good the product, but in the whole it’s just unbelievably incompetent.

VAR for me was one of the best things to happen to football, it’s got so much potential. The idiots that oversee it are thick ****s with a little bit of cheating added into the mix. Get them wired up so we can hear those responsible for making the decisions. The Rugby officiating today was brilliant.

The brand cannot be doing with a team winning the title three seasons on the trot, so VAR is the twelfth man every fuckin' team has now when we turn up, and the twelfth man for every fuckin' team who can climb over us given a dodgy, oops, controversial, VAR decision - of which there has been several every weekend since the jokers in charge have had their hands on the weapon.

It all goes back to the glaring problem the English game has had for a while. The refs are bent and shit. This all stems from the incompetence of the top brass at PiGMOL.

All the VAR official has to do on the spurs goal is decide whether it made contact with the arm before the ball entering the net.

No clear or obvious and no high bar to consider, just did it contact the arm before entering the net, that's all

x4 officials with all the technology and slow motion and all the camera angles confirm to the ref that it didnt.

City versus Spurs game, all same technology, the VAR official confirms it made contact with Laportes arm....
