The underlined is a fact many hate and certainly our relationship with the US is something the social democrats and socialists in the EU hate. This is why they have spent a lot of time and effort trying to get a piece of that pie by making their own pie, particularly in the defence arena.

An anti-American policy for us would destroy any economic growth as it is the only major growth investment coming into the UK but anti-Americanism is Labour policy!

When Labour mention how bad no deal would be, just think of the arms and defence industry who will face hundreds of thousands of job losses as a result of Labour policy.

None of them care about jobs or the economy, it's all about ideology.

Corbyn would take great delight in systematically dismantling our military and our nuclear deterrent

As an ex-forces veteran I find it totally disgusting that this individual has steadfastly undermined our military and even been so bold as to rejoice at the demise of SF personnel at the hands of PIRA... He called Martin McGuinness a "Great Man" FFS... he might have said this because of his role in peace negotiations but this **** murdered people in the name of religion... that's indefensible

These are some of the reasons that I told @Rascal that I wouldn't piss on the man (Corbyn) if he was on fire...

you may be surprised to see there are a number of Labour MPs who intend to vote for the deal this evening... maybe because they are not prepared to prolong the agony for their constituents who voted out
I'm not surprised at all. They don't give a fuck about their constituancies. It's all about attacking the leader as usual suspects are the ones voting with the Tories.

With regards to the whole shit storm can anyone give me some hope that should it all prevail something decent might come out of it?

Maybe the **** known as Johnson has a plan . Gets this deal through, general election which he will win with an increased majority made up of a greater number of more liberal Tory MP’S , he’s already shit on the DUP , he could then shit on the ERG . This then gives him the leeway for flexibility in the coming negotiations with Europe. As much as I detest him I still have a slight hope that no Prime Minister will fuck his own country and make it poorer .

This is my view, he’s never going to scrap the opportunity for a FTA to pander to an extreme minority in his own party, he’s going to be conscious of his legacy.

Blackford on his feet.

Scotland shafted....will of the people of Scotland.....independence is coming......rinse and repeat.

You'd have to be a fucking idiot if you thought that this deal was the end of the dialogue.. I fear you do the average voter a huge disservice
No I think I'm not too far off mate

Another pro-Brexit message that has been allowed to spread largely unchecked is that it’s possible to “get Brexit done” quickly and conclusively. In February, the pollster Andrew Cooper wrote in the London Evening Standard that when focus groups were told that an initial Brexit deal “would actually trigger a new and almost certainly much longer and more complex new phase of talks”, there was “horrified silence”.

I don't buy it sorry... you only meed a modicum of common sense or to have a faint interest in current affairs to realise that this is only the start of the transition...

You only need a modicum of common sense to realise that Brexit was a fucking terrible idea & the pie in the sky Brexit the leave campaigns promised would never happen, yet here we are...

then shame on them... they live here and therefore should take an interest in what is going on in our country
Maybe, you'd be surprised how many think this is the deal and know nothing of any transition period or future trade negotiations. Basically most people only take a passing interest in politics at election time. It's why until they were asked they would moan about the EU but weren't really that bothered. Then when asked a complex question asked simply, gave an instinctive answer rather than a well informed one.

Most people just listen to sound bites and just read the Sun and Mail. Why do you think "Get Brexit Done" has become Johnson's catch phrase? Because "Get Brexit started and we'll try and negotiate a trade deal for the foreseeable future to finish it" doesn't quite roll off the tongue even though it would be factually correct if the Withdrawal Agreement allowed for it. As it stands, the Withdrawal agreement gives us 3 months to get to a point where we would have to request an extension to transition if we haven't got the bones of an agreement in place, and considering trade deals usually take years not months is totally unrealistic.
This WA is a Trojan horse for No Deal at the end of 2020.

Trying to prevent agony. Is that not a reasonable position to take?

Nailed it. Most of the electorate just believe what they read in the tabloids; which surprise, surprise, were and still are pro brexit.

perfectly reasonable... let's see how the vote goes

It's win win for me...

They vote for the deal we can start to really negotiate the FTA

They vote it down then it may be the chance to oust the current @Labour front bench completely...

Then it will surely be voted down....
