Yep. Taking back control.Christ Vic..
You're right they couldn't amend it.
It took Dublin and Brussels to do it.

General Election is inevitable, let’s get it done, BJ will piss it, I’m no fan but the Tories will select their candidates based on their support for Brexit. Not sure if JC had the same backing, however it will put this boring, expensive episode to bed.
The uncertainty has already cost industry in the UK, I’m talking through my pocket, it’s not fortunes but to my small business it’s hit me enough to make a dent. Others will be suffering much more, sick to death of it.
Why isn't the EU now insisting on a longer implementation period?
So labour need time to scrutinise a bill that they've already described as 'Terrible.'
If they have reached such a conclusion, which has been delivered in a very forthright fashion, why the scrutiny?
Some people may get the impression it's just a mischievous delaying exercise, surely not?
The deal is unamendable without the say so of Dublin and Brussels.
It is yet more frustrate and delay.
Tbh Vic there’s loads of pros and cons but too much self interest is playing with the lives of a lot of people. One of the manufacturers (aircraft industry) we courier parts for have laid off six workers in the past month. It’s all down to Rolls Royce moving a test facility from Derby to Germany, that’s when the reality of Brexit hits home, real peoples lives, not the theory based “what if” arguments that currently surround Brexit.Reject sitting good constituency MPs you lose their personal vote.
This wouldn't end uncertainty.
The Eu couldn't care less what we amend in the bill as long as it doesn't impact on them... so if we want to maintain parity with Eu environmental legislation for example they'll pass it
See my reply to Vic, I appreciate there’s loads of different arguments but this limbo is now affecting the lives of more and more of the population. It needs a rapid conclusion, I would love it if the Queen used her privilege and agreed to an Election without the consent of 434 MP’s, I think that would be the best outcome for this Country. You do know that there is at least 14 months before any further certainty and already peiople are saying that is not long enough. This shit show will go on for years and cost you and others far more down the line unless we back out of it. If you want it done quickly then you would argue for a 2nd ref and remain. That is the quickest way out. Brexit is shit.
If the EU ignore the PM and offer an extension to 31st January, we're heading for a GE which he will win. Question is, will he then stick to the deal as agreed? Or are we heading for a much harder Brexit? I'd suggest the EU think long and hard about this.

That will just get worse if we do leave.Tbh Vic there’s loads of pros and cons but too much self interest is playing with the lives of a lot of people. I'm sure she'd rather suggest a PM without a majority should resign and let someone else have a go at forming a coalition government.See my reply to Vic, I appreciate there’s loads of different arguments but this limbo is now affecting the lives of more and more of the population. He's agreed a deal which I'm sure he's not completely happy with in order to get it through a Remain dominated Parliament, that won't be the case after the election. If the EU like this deal, then I'd expect them to listen to Boris's request regarding the extension, because he's demonstrated he can get it through. A long extension is no longer a risk free option for the EU.Yeah. Johnson may really ramp things up after cedeing on the internal customs border by threatening to join the Euro.
The consequences for our society if we don’t leave will be even worse than if we do. What a fucking state of affairs.Who knows? Just need to move on and put this shit behind us.
There are very few constituencies where Labour voters who voted Leave would be a majority of (regular) Labour voters and everywhere else their Remain voters might punish them for the vacillation. My thoughts as well.
Extension and a GE brings Farage into the equation and Tory candidates that are far more brexity shall we say.
labour will also be shitting their pants as their leave ares imo will desert them.
Move on by revoking...Who knows? Just need to move on and put this shit behind us.
