Booth played alongside Big Dave Watson at the heart of our defence almost exactly 41 years ago at the San Siro in the famous 2-2 draw with Milan
God knows what these two would have thought of our defence midweek..
Bell played alongside Asa Hartford in midfeld and of course a young Paul Power who scored after running the length of the pitch to score

Had a spell in hospital in March his brother was on the same ward and Mr Booth visited every day along with some other ex blues.
My dad who is a red said one of his old workmates would have fainted at being in the same room as Tommy as he was his hero in the seventies.

We wuz robbed that day, dodgy officials , how times change

Anyway, Happy Birthday Tommy , doesn’t get the mentions he should (IMO) but he was a fantastic servant to this club as a player and beyond.
 
Often see Tommy nipping in and out of the corporate areas on matchdays with the likes of Edghill, Brightwell and Barnes, hes still in good shape. Happy birthday Blue.
 
I had the great good fortune to have week's holiday in Tenerife in the same hotel as him and his Mrs. He was a an absolute scream. It was the best week's holiday EVER!!
He was a great player for us over many years.
Happy birthday Tommy. Top, top bloke.
