I thought their first was a fair goal because the ball hit Bernie's hand first.

that may be a why it was allowed but what is clear is that it hit the Liverpool players arm, Oliver was 3 yards away and had a clear view of this and didn’t give a pen. Had he done so as he should, they wouldn’t have scored. The pen may have been overturned but they wouldn’t have scored.
