Liverpool (a) post-match thread

Going into the break 4th behind Leicester is pretty shit.

The players have a lot of work to do. However some don't look like they're up for it.

Does anybody think that VAR couldn't give the early penalty because it would look ridiculous to cancel Liverpool's goal and take the play back to the other end of the pitch?
It's the sort of situation dismissed as "theoretical only" when VAR was introduced, but it certainly came to life today.

In this summer's Copa America, there was a penalty incident ref didn't call, just to give penalty to the other team that counter attacked. VAR notified him, he went there, check the screen, cancelled already given pen and gave the first one. That's when refs are not bent though.

The fucking chances we missed.

It kills me seeing them do everything right, cut open a defence - a really good defence - and then just fuck up a simple square pass or shot.

We are never going to win the CL or pull back thos deficit unless we sort that out, and as Pep keeps saying it's a mentality problem.

I dont know how he stays sane. He does everything he can, he gets them working perfectly as a team and then they just shit the bed time after time in the box. And you can tell how pissed off hes gotten because we can literally win 8-0 and he mentions missing loads of chances.
