My comprehension skills are pretty good. Maybe you should give it another read. Anyhow, we seem to agree that everyone is entitled to their political opinion and to speak freely about it. We still live in a free democracy for the moment.

The whole point of the argument is that it was changed because Johnson budged - not the bloody EU.

The whole point is that your assertion as to why the EU budged, is entirely speculative and may have had fuck all to do with it.

You honestly believe Johnson moving to something the EU had suggested already, after all his suggestions failed, had fuck all to do with us finding a way through?

That is unbelievable from you, it really is. All of your objectivity from the last 3 years has been sucked in by the Tories.

Can you point out where the EU specifically budged with the Withdrawal Agreement to prove that Johnson’s threats worked?

Let me repost what I posted before because you seem to have difficulty taking it in.

These ARE facts:

1. The EU said categorically they would not re-open the WA.
2. Johnson said he'd take us out by hook or by crook by October 31, deal or no deal.
3. Lots of people believed him.
4. The EU changed their minds are re-opened the WA for renegotiation.

Which particular one of the 4 do you want to challenge as being untrue? You *assert* that 4 is not related to 2 or to 3. That is your opinion. Please stop trying ram your opinion down other peoples' throats, claiming it as fact and accusing people who don't agree with you of lying.

No.4 is false, false in the sense they didn’t change their minds. One of their original offers to May was accepted.

Was this then rejected?

Did Johnson offer this to Varadkar in the week commencing October 7th, therefore u-turning on his prior rhetoric to an Irish Sea customs agreement?

These three questions prove we budged, not Brussels.

It’s like saying “well your opinion is City lost 3-1 yesterday, my opinion is that they didn’t, we disagree, end of”.

It's your fucking opinion as to what changed the EU's minds from their previously non-negotiable position that the WA would not be re-opened. How fucking difficult is it for you to get your head around that??? It's YOUR OPINION and nothing more than that.
