Sorry about that ;-) I've been a passionate supporter of conservative princples for 40+ years, so you can imagine why I find the prospect of a terrorist-sympathising communist becoming our Prime Minister so absolutely abhorrent. I'd seriously have to think about emigrating if he got in, and taking my tax payments with me.
Aren't you more bothered about what he does than the fact of him being there?
If he becomes PM it's likely to be as the leader of a minority party in coalition with others that will not support any terrorist-sympathising communist policies, whereas a majority conservative government appear to be committing to an extreme Brexit policy rather than a soft Brexit that most people would tolerate if not enthusiastically support. Isn't that a more likely scenario than Corbyn managing to point the direction of the country towards Marxism, and isn't a hard Brexit also anathema to you? As a formally committed Remainer, I would have thought that it would only be a soft Brexit that you could bring yourself to support, and that's not happening with Johnson (or at least there's absolutely no sign of it).

I absolutely see and respect your point of view. But for me, first of all I just could not bring myself voting for Corbyn under any circumstances whatsoever. I understand he may be impotent in what he could do, but it's just not on. It's a matter of principle. It would be like voting for Hitler and saying don't worry he won't get a majority so won't be able to kill any Jews.

And then there's other side of the coin. First of all, I absolutely do not see us going out on WTO terms. But even if we did, I have always maintained that there could be upsides to that. The Singapore upon Thames idea is not at all stupid. Money floods into places like Hungary because of their low corporation tax, creating jobs and wealth. We could have it flow into the UK instead.

Creates wealth though and we know they dont like wealth and those with it.

So you will understand and respect the views of some of us that voting for Liar Johnson is just as impossible.

Vote Lib Dem then.
Invoking Godwin's law is a bit excessive isn't it? Even for Corbyn?

A vote for the Lib Dems is a vote for Corbyn isn't it. Let's not kid ourselves. If the Tories don't win, Corbyn is our next Prime Minister. That is just absolutely, completely unthinkable. I can imagine nothing worse.

I’m not keen myself but I think you need a more vivid imagination if that’s the worst thing you can think of.

When a poster with no compassion or empathy with his fellow human beings, particularly those less well off ,who measures everything in personal wealth and prioritises the right for the richest to have another BMW over helping the neediest in society, can imagine nothing worse than a Labour government then that is all the more reason to vote for it.

Good for you Len you principled person you. Bravo. Me, I'm off to buy myself another beemer or two and you poor sods can all fuck off.

Honestly I have rarely heard such garbage.

And @Len Rum, do you know what REALLY fucks me off? It's people like you with your holier than fucking thou attitude, who seem to think that it's the moral high ground to take arbitrarily ever more money off people and that all Tories are uncaring bastards. Which is so fucking far from the truth you may as well be orbiting Jupiter. I am not even remotely rich, and yet I probably give more money in taxes and charitable donations than you've have ever fucking earned. I'm the schmuck who hands out fivers to the beggers on the fucking underground when no other **** will. And ditto the car washers in Tescos car park. And you have the fucking gall to come out with shite like this, day in day out. Fucking pisses me off.

How the fcuk do you know what I earn and what I give to charity and how that compares with your sad self.
Frankly I don't believe that anyone who views having a second bmw over helping the less well off in society really gives a fcuk about anyone else.
Watch Scrooge ( it's on every Xmas) ,you might learn something from it.

How the fuck do I know what you earn? Maybe it's because of your transparent hatred of anyone with £5 more than you've got.

And I never said anything about owning a 2nd BMW Len, you made that up. I equated the extra Corbyn tax the cost BMW. But of course that doesn't sound so good does it, so you fucked about with it to suit your pathetic narrative, as per.
