Which is why, for me, the only fair outcome is another referendum, on whatever deal is agreed and passed, vs the status quo.
Well, obviously, you have to vote for Labour then, which is offering a referendum comprised of two positions, one, stay in the SM and CU,
ECJ too, probably, but as they change every 10 minutes, who knows, or two, remain.
Which means it's immaterial which box you cross, as you'll get exactly the same outcome, which, as a remainer, is proper cake and eat it.
As the above (seems) to be their position now, it's the only one that makes sense, a Lib vote may help the Tories.
Now that Labour are now a declared remain party, the 17.4 million who aren't, may not care for them too much, but we'll find out in 4 weeks.

Poor you. Did you shower afterwards?

Course it was dave i mean they had the temerity to not agree with you so racists they all are!

I shower everyday, I find it sufficient. Blaming immigrants for everything that is wrong with our country strikes me as racist but maybe I should have said xenophobic.

It certainly would appear to be one for you.

Sadly racism is a reality and ignoring it is tantamount to supporting it.

BTW do you 2 have to work at being arseholes or does it come naturally

Naturally but the last 3 years having to mix with and discuss politics with a different demographic as you put it has helped.

I don't have to do Any'hing mate.

Don't disagree with the rest of your post, nor do we it seems expect a vastly different outcome of the election.

my point was in response to your attempt at defining brexit how you see fit (again not anything i disagree with), rather than how it was sold, or according to the Brexit Party theselves, and the openly remain parties as well for that matter, what was voted for.

To everybody who was adamant that football was somehow above Brexit here is the Brexit secretary putting out the Govt's view on controlling who clubs can recruit and buy. Would we have enjoyed the last glorious 10 years if this blinkered view have prevailed?

this man is a professional idiot.

fuck me, how can you possibly be on the same side as a tit like this?

Steve Barclay is quite breathtakingly stupid at times.

Only at times?

Honestly i get that many in Parliament are incredibly talented and come from professional backgrounds but why is it they just come across as being fucking stupid?

Yeah. One is the President of the US and @mat is a bloke on a football forum. If you get the two confused again let me know. Always happy to help out.

Selective and one eyed as ever Bob.

Fucking Grantham is a backwards shithole of a place.

Pretty much the majority of Lincolnshire is borderline fascist.

Nearly the whole of an English county are borderline fascist?

I’ve read some shit on here in my time but this is up there.

My point is that the threat of no deal is a very credible one that the EU absolutely do not want. And avoiding that by offering us a decent trade deal is a very real aspiration. How many Labour MPs would vote FOR a FTA which closely aligns us to the EU?

Consider this Vic - I am serious - this is not about silly point scoring, so please I ask you to have an open mind.

Around 450 MPs are Remain supporters, and yet when asked to pass the A50 legislation to take us out, it was passed by 498 votes to 114. Overwhelmingly, MPs thought that despite their personal preferences, they had a obligation to accept the referendum result.

This General Election is all about Brexit. We all know it is. For the Tory Party, it most definitely is. They are standing, overtly, on a "Get Brexit Done" ticket. So let's suppose for a moment that they manage to win and win with a majority. Remain-oriented MPs will be faced with hearing the public's clear mandate for Brexit, not once, but twice. They will feel even more compelled to back a Brexit deal.

Do you think it is possible that many Labour MPs will support a final trade agreement with the EU, once Boris presents it back to parliament? I think it is nailed on certain that they will. Even more so, if it protects exporters and jobs. In these circumstances the hard right can huff and puff all they like, but the deal will be passed, with extensive support from Labour, whipped or not. Apart from anything else, Corbyn would very likely not be the Labour leader in such circumstances.

Do you see what I am suggesting and what's your opinion on this?
Let's suppose that Johnson gets a majority on the false premise that this would "get Brexit done". Previously some on here have argued that even though they lost in 2017 Labour MPs were still bound by the manifesto on which they lost. So (anticipating this manifesto) they could only support a deal that kept us in the customs union - say, a free trade zone from Iceland to the Russian border.
