That’s alternative City bingo if I ever saw it. Show me one quote where someone has said it’ll be a failure if we don’t win anything.

Poch went two years without buying a player. Pep is out of this world but to put Poch down as a failure is a tad unfair.

Yeah, I agree with all that. He was punching above his weight for years and the under-investment was going to catch up eventually

People who say Pochettino was a failure are like the same ones who say Pep was a failure for not winning the Champions League with Bayern.

You just said only Son would get into your team and are saying we should be winning medals. Karen you know you never give any credit ever, you're just like posters on redcafe and rawk never giving any credit to anyone. I dunno if it's your personality or a big circus show

I dunno if you're 18 years old or something but Spurs haven't won hardly anything for 30 years (I know I've witnessed it all) you're acting like he should have won a quadruple every season on a shoestring budget. He got us playing consistent top 4 football and consistently out performing Liverpool, United, Arsenal and Chelsea in the process. Medals would have been nice but you cannot deny he done well.

Levy is a red herring mostly,he has provided him with more than enough decent players,compare them to the teams who have won cups,all the rest of the top 6, even the arses have won loads in that time,wigan,leicester etc ,we have been beaten by teams at the bottom of the league several times,he really can't use his players as an excuse

Yep. The same people who will say that City have better players and a better manager but then say Poch is a failure for not beating us.
 
Poch's never won anything but Spurs have become a more serious side under him. Mourinho is past his sell by date, plays shit football and loves picking a fight with the board when he doesn't get enough money. Can see this ending so badly. I'm glad though, VAR cheating ****s.

heyho my Spurs mates will disagree but what do they know. They are gutted tonight but NFL is much more important than investment in the team CL qualification more important than trophies all about money for Levy
 
I am curious now. People who are saying Pochettino is nothing special, who would they vote for as our manager once Pep leaves? Considering most up and coming managers haven't won anything significant.

I wish i was 18 ha,i'm pushin 60! i'm not and never have said you should be keeping pace with us,it's pep so it's ni on impossible so leaving that aside,i've been saying to you that we were you and you need a **** like bobby to come in and shake the whole club up to take you foward,poch saying he is not interested in winning the cups as he can't see the advantage in it is frankly shocking,you should always do your best and have a fire in your belly,he has been cosetted in the media and allowed to get comfy,he needed to go for your own sake
You can't spend a year telling me how fantastic your team is an ignore smaller clubs winning silverwear,i hope you get the right manager to kick you on but i'm not sure levy would employ the sort of manager that would do that
I hate some of your protected players who tried to break our legs 2 games running,no apologies for that

You don't even have your dates right, 14/15 was Pochettino's first year and 16/17 was Pep's. And by your own admission they have about one player who would get into our team. I just can't figure out why they haven't won domestic trophies!
 
There is a pretty obvious solution for Levy. Follow the recent example of our neighbours.
Appoint a former club player with limited managerial experience so they would get the benefit of the doubt from the fans and be cheap. He can even hijack the slogan.
