At the risk of being stereotyped I'm here now. Any independent assessment of that appearance would confirm he is utterly dishonest. The 'no Scottish referendum in the early years ' is actually saying he would give separatists what they want in his first term, just an embarrassing lie. Look at his scowling face as they laugh at his denial of his anti-Semitic antics or his concealment of his Brexit position. Mind you that kind of bear pit with that imbecile putting the questions is a terrible format tbf.

What’s interesting is that voter studies generally indicate that most people say negative attacks turn them off, yet campaigns (and by extension candidates) in elections continue to do it.

There are many scholars that wonder whether it is false response issue and political attacks do actually motivate voters or if politicians are just slow to understand the shift in the electorate’s expectations for acceptable behaviour.

Quite a bit of conflicting evidence exists regarding whether negative attacks positively or negatively influence voting for a candidate. Most likely because designing a controlled, unbiased study of such actions is incredibly difficult (as is the case when studying any human social systems).

I think they do it to divert attention from their own failings,it's like boris just keeps shouting get brexit done so we don't think about what 10yrs of austerity has done to us and to hide what they would do if they get in again,i'm worried that this is about brexit and not about installing a government for 5yrs,this is the wrong thing to do imo
