Still early days, but so far I am disappointed in the lack of Tory attack on the Labour manifesto.

People need to understand that Labour is for the few, not the many. A few people at the bottom end of the scale may be better off, that is true. But the VAST majority of people in the UK would be much, much worse off under Labour. More people out of work, more people with higher mortgages and higher rents and less money in their pockets as a result. More people unable to afford their homes.

Do parents REALLY want Labour's spending when it means their children have to pick up the tab in later years? Is that what parents want for their kids? Do they want to have more tax taken off them so that their children don't inherit as much to get them started out in life? Is that what parents want?

These are BIG issues and Labours "95% of people won't be worse off" is the biggest lie ever attempted in a General Election. Most people understand this, but the few who still do not, must be made aware. Vote Labour if you want to be poorer. Vote Labour if you want more people out of work. Vote Labour if you want your kids to struggle even more. It's as simple as that.
good programme on Jezzer's antecedents currently on iPlayer :-)

This man is all likelihood will be the Prime Minister for the next 5 years. I'm not religious in the slightest but if God is up there, we will need his help.....

Consider this buffoon's answering of questions in comparison to the dignified and knowledgeable way Corbyn answers his.

It's absolute bollocks, anyone that believes that needs a slap, most people voted for brexit to cut back on immigration but he plans to bring in 12,500 immigrants to cover the nurses increase alone and to stock his 40 hosp and increases in gp numbers 10 times that as a conservative estimate

He has no control over gp appts
He has no control what hospitals charge for parking

In short he is a bare faced liar
Of course he can deliver over hospital parking - if he has a majority - he can pass an Act of Parliament to sort it. The policy also is to also make more staff car parking available which is woefully short.

Don't worry it's on the way. They will blow their own trumpet as much as possible first though as Cummings believes that negative campaigning doesnt work without putting a positive message out first. From the last two referenda, he's clearly not wrong as Project Fear was a disaster in both cases.

What dignified way is that?
Perhaps not having a clue what sort of Brexit he would propose standing against Remain in the proposed "Peoples Vote" and not having any senior Labour politician who could actually stand up for Brexit in these negotiations. (Besides himself of course as he would prefer to leave even if it is BRINO - after all he's been traipsing through the anti Europe lobby for 40 years.)
In short he hasn't got a Scooby Do and that's why Leave and working class voters (including "White Van Man") are deserting Labour in the Labour heartlands.

He has been in government whilst hospital charges have soared,my disabled badge is useless now,i'll take you word he could if he wanted to but i doubt very much that hosp trusts would comply, what could he do about it if they all say no,low paid staff are having to pay to park,it would take billions to sort it out,on 2nd thoughts i stand by it being a false promise

That's the reason the policy is in the Tory manifesto it will be popular. I've spent nearly £500 on hospital parking over the last two years with my wifes ailments and hospital stays. I now call it my "Hospital Parking Tax" for that is what it is.

Shame neither, he, May or Cameron never got round to abolishing hospital car parking charges in the last nine years. Were they all too busy or did it just slip their minds?

yeah well I am all for gender equality so tell me why men and women still are able draw their pensions at different ages?

It isn't going to happen, all this is is a scramble for votes. If the WASPI women get their pensions then men should and probably will go to court for theirs.

Still they’ve got the potholes and hospital parking charges covered.

‘Johnson in first speech as PM: "We will fix the crisis in social care once and for all."
Institute for Fiscal Studies on today's manifesto: "One notable omission is any plan for social care.

Did you miss the bit about wanting a Royal Commision a week or so ago? Yes let's boot this one in to the too hard category. Which it is - For every party.

No idea whether you are condemning Johnson for booting the issue into the long grass of a Royal Commission or praising him.

Still potholes and hospital parking charges. Good to see the Tories tackling the two big issues of our time.
