Apart from the two cases he was asked about in the interview? Taking another view, if he’s not got anything to apologise for, then why has he apologised before?

I get it, labour supporters are saying this because they don’t think there’s a level playing ground with the conservatives with how this is portrayed and a bit of natural partisan behaviour thrown in. That’s fine, I don’t think there is a level playing ground either, but if the response to that is to dig the heels in and say nothing’s wrong, then all you are doing is justifying clearing a low bar but thinking that’s ok as it’s slightly higher than someone else’s. There’s no high ground to be had whatsoever.

I might add that this forum is like an echo chamber for deluded lefty thinking. Just look at the poll at the top, with a 15 point lead for Labour. And then wake up and look at the national polls of tens of thousands of voters, with the circa 12 point lead for the Tories.

You know what I think all the leaders will struggle because Iv’e come to the conclusion Andrew Neil is a bit of a twat and more interested in his own ego than getting answers and developing the debate.

I don't mind his style actually. It was refreshing to see Corbyn forced to answer the question on how he was going to afford the WASPI billions rather than let him answer a different question about the morality of it. Something Corbyn really struggled with it but we got there in the end. I think the expression 'present but not involved' came to mind with Corbyn in that interview.

Neill needs to call it a day, he is a terrible interviewer.
