Especially after today's NHS report.
Just think he could have set everybody's mind at rest , even proved your point.
What a shame he won't be doing it.
You must be really disappointed.
LOL.

I don’t think he is bothered about that old report.

I think he will be more bothered about a grilling on the 50000 more nurses.

Ha Ha , weak reply mate.
'That old report' you say (again ad nauseam).
Well just think if he had gone on the Andrew Neil interview that would have enabled him to say ' Those discussions were under the previous administration but this government has now taken drug pricing off the table and we have informed our USA partners of this'.

He’s a slippery one is BoJo

As part of our series of leaders' interviews, we have dates for two more next week. Andrew Neil will interview Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson and Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage. #BBCElection #GE2019

For those asking when Boris Johnson's interview will take place, we're in ongoing discussions with his team but we haven't yet been able to fix a date

The Chief Rabbi is a politician now, of his own choosing, he's made a number of outrageous, unsubstantiated claims and smeared a party that has over 500,000 members.

Given this, it is a testimony to just how unfounded his bullshit is, that he has received so little blowback, then again he knew this in advance of his article. If the Labour party was what he claims it is, his words would have placed the Jewish community in a difficult position, the fact that it hasn't, is the truth that dare not speak its name.

Jeremy Corbyn is not anti-Semitic, the Labour party is not anti-Semitic, it does not have a history of anti-Semitism and it does not have any anti-Semitic policies, it does however have a policy of supporting a Palestinian homeland.

The Chief Rabbi knows all this..... and then he played his hand.

Of course, no problems and no history so there is nothing to see here.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antisemitism_in_the_UK_Labour_Party

Even his frontbenchers agree there is nothing to apologise for, no problems whatsoever - https://www.theguardian.com/politic...rontbenchers-sorry-over-handling-antisemitism

Tory boys gone very quiet on here since news broke of BoJo's (chlorinated) chicken act.

I am not a Tory boy but I don't care where I get my chicken, I've been to the US and had no problems at all.

If chlorinated chicken were to pour into the UK then you will still have a choice of the usual chicken plus organic and more expensive chicken.

I would be glad to see the horrific realities of the British empire taught to young people. If anyone is offended by the truth about what their country did, that just shows how bad it was and why education is needed.

I was trying to explain this to my mate whilst in Dublin. The national wax museum had a history section which wasnt backward at coming forwards about the treatment of the population under British rule.

WTF do you mean "the NHS is on the table" Bob?

Stop talking stupid soundbites and try if you can to talk credibly about what that means. Because there is no meaning which can be applied which is even vaguely credible.

Are we planning on unilaterally spending much more on our drugs for no benefit whatsoever? No. To suggest so is not credible.
Are we planning to selling off parts of the NHS? No, not credible.
Are we planning on allowing US firms to bid for NHS outsourced work? Not relevant - they can already. Nothing new.

So what do you mean by "on the table"? Let's hear it.

‘On the table’ means the NHS is part of the discussions. As are food standards. What’s not on the table is any ‘climate change’ provisions. The US have said they will not be and cannot be any reference to climate change.

And therein lies the difference. We say the NHS is not up for discussion and it gets discussed. US say climate change isn’t up for discussion so it isn’t.

Negotiations with the US and the EU have their own dynamic. Both regard their market as prized assets that a third country will be eager to have preferential access to and for that preferential access there is a hefty price.

If you are to take Johnson at his word that the NHS and food standards are lines that cannot be crossed then there will be no meaningful trade deal with the US. If we are to take Johnson at his word about aligning with the EU then there will be no meaningful trade deal with the EU.

There will have to be a meaningful deal with one or the other so he is lying. The only question that remains is which one is he lying about.

We could show the horrific realities of any empire or country on its smaller neighbours, what the end game seems to be is marginalising white British children now we've got a well stocked diverse peanut gallery ready to have a go at them because their ancestors might or might not have been bad. It's a poorly aimed blame game wrapped in identity politics and is racially divisive.

Let's be frank about this when a teacher explains that it's "Your" ancestors it'll be the indigenous population they are pointing a finger at.

And for the next lesson, children, we're going to hear all about the great Chairman Mao and his wondeful campaigns against landlords. We'll not be focussing too much attention on him bringing about the greatest famine in human history resulting in the needless deaths of 30 million people. And after that, a nice afternoon story.
