U read nearly every newspaper in your iunch to get a balanced view?
Who reads newspapers now?
Nearly every one?
At your age?
To get a balance?
Do me a favour.
This issue is all about Corbyn's support for the two state settlement to the Israel Paestine conflict and nothing to do with anti semitism.
Wake up and smell it.
Boris on LBC right now. it's beyond painful. doesn't answer any of the callers questions, waffles for ages, 'i can't get into the exact details', attack Corbyn/McDonnell and repeating 'we will get Brexit done' over and over
I'm slightly out, a quick Google reveals 280-290,000.Interesting. Maybe the circles I move in, but I would have thought it was at least double that.
U mean u read the headlines and maybe a bit more depending on coverage and paywalls.Another occasion of my age being brought up as a negative, that’s 3 this month from people incapable of arguing strongly enough, and so decide to play the man rather than ball.
I know this may be my age again but we have this thing called the internet. It’s a magic portal where within 3 clicks you can be on the home page of any newspaper in the country. Within my hours lunch I am able to spend 5-10 minutes on the Guardian, spend 5-10 minutes on the Telegraph, spend 5-10 minutes on the Independent, spend 5-10 minutes on the Daily Mail... you get the picture.
I know you probably think this is sorcery grandad but it’s really quite easy.
Pretty much everyone in the western world wants a two state solution. I’ve never spoken to a single person, including my Jewish ex manager, who still sits behind me at work, who has Israeli parents and thinks Netanyahu is a ****.
This has everything to do with Corbyn’s supporters taking that particular conflict, which is one of many around the world, as their main point in life and turning their obsession with opposition to the Israeli state’s expansionism; into a hatred of Jews, blaming them for it.
When you throw in the lefts obsession with banking conspiracies then you’ve arrived at your destination, which looks very much like a beer hall in 1930’s Germany.
6 million exterminated in between 1941-45 - two thirds of the European population - it's beyond belief that hatred of their race persists on the scale it does in the Labour party.Edit: just clicked the link. Surprised the Russian number is that low.
It's a total obsession with them, any other world events don't get much of a look in, your assessment of it turningThis has everything to do with Corbyn’s supporters taking that particular conflict, which is one of many around the world, as their main point in life and turning their obsession with opposition to the Israeli state’s expansionism; into a hatred of Jews, blaming them for it.
Around 2m Soviet Jews were victims of the holocaust, not all Russian but a sizeable number would have been, added to that about 1m have emigrated to Israel after the USSR relaxed emigration restrictions in the 70s.Edit: just clicked the link. Surprised the Russian number is that low.

Jewish folk are not a particularly large demographic here.

The ludicrous situation is that you seem to think the press is balanced.
Correct, they shouldn't, yet precisely because of Corbyn, many are fleeing if he gets power. Corbyn's method of dealingIt wouldn't matter if it was just 280 - 290 - nobody should feel threatened which is why Corbyn keeps saying he has spent his life confronting racism. The upshot is in an ideal world nobody should feel thsat way.
this was brilliant.
few days ago... Asked if he had ever eaten at Greggs Boris said: "What? You mean like a pasty or a sausage roll? Have I ever not had a Greggs?! I am made of Greggs. ''
Nick Ferrari - ''tell me Prime Minister, how much is a Greggs Sausage Roll ? '' ..... BJ ''..I er erm no, not sure ''
..''a pound prime minister''
Maybe they just prefer some liars to others or the liars they like to the ones they don't or the ones they know to the ones they don't. Maybe some are so gullible they think only one side is lying or that only the rich perpetuate nonsense or that Labour never tries to bypass subjects they don't like with fabricated distractions. Maybe most people don't like being lied to at all but still choose to vote for the lesser evil.
Like O'Brien didn't say - what if this turns out to be a downright calumny by Corbyn? Would you change your mind about him? Somehow I don't think you would no matter what he's done. Blind hatred poisons everything including the capacity for critical thinking.
Whilst true generally that narrative suits the Tories because Johnson is one of the worse , so to paint them all the same suits them.Standard of our politicians has surely never been as low.

Hang on, which is it?
Has he apologised or not?
Ahh because an actual person with Jewish heritage answering the exact points you put in your question... upsets you?
You really don't like Jews, do you.
I can see you sat there all smug posting this.
Wow, you're so clever for your own good you actually didn't even read the ARTICLE written by the BBC in my post.
Well done, Sherlock.
