I'm a member of few various forums on a variety of Interests, but I dont know one other person in my life who posts on forums. When I tell people what I've read/heard on bluemoon etc I feel kind of sad, not embarrassed as such, just kinda like they think what a geek. And I am i suppose a self confessed nerd, I'm definitely not cool, so is it a bit sad?

There was a time when it would probably have been viewed as a bit weird but it's just like any other social media really. I probably wouldn't tell people my posting name but I wouldn't be ashamed to say I visit the site and post.

Why is it sad? Its just a different way to stay in touch, communicate, socialise and educate. Its a way to bring like minded people together.

Not if you've got nobody else to talk too.
