As MES alluded to, I don’t think we should be politicising this either way. It doesn’t seem appropriate only hours after the event and before all facts are known. Thoughts should only be with those affected by this. Shameful looking to point score in the immediate aftermath of a terrorist atrocity.

These issues regarding a tagged released terrorist and downgrading of security status are being reported all over the media now.
In fact Sky reporters were shouting at Patel and Lewis as they left Downing St as to whether they were now going to upgrade the security status.
Sky now reporting that BoJo stated before the first Cobra meeting he was against he was against early release of serious and violent criminals.
How can it be wrong to raise these issues in this forum when they're being discussed all over the media.

I don't think anyone will argue with that, they deserve more than "medals" though, who knows how many injuries (or even lives) they may have saved ?

In my opinion this is the best way to deal with them, no beating around the bush if they pose a real threat to life. Pop them off and save a lifetime of expense.

There’s a line that this sort of behaviour crosses. The normal rules of engagement shouldn’t apply. No issue with proper officers of the state conducting summary executions where there is a realistic prospect of failing to do so, presenting a palpable risk to the public.
