Mendy is shocking. Mahrez is a good player but not in City's system. Gundongan is no Dinho in midfield. Stones.

Guardiola bought them and coaches them so must take some responsibility.

Waiting for him to sub Silva later on for Rodri with Gundo pushing up for some pace and creativity further forward!.... If only we had a young lad with skill, energy and an eye for goal.

Some intensity gone out of our game.

Silva slow, KDB a little bit short of where he should be. We've not been anywhere near as bad as BT make out though.

We certainly didn't pay for this version of Mendy. That version of Mendy was good, and years ago. Injuries have most likely ruined him, like they'd ruin most players. Can't even blame Mendy. Just sheer bad luck.
I agree injuries take their toll on physicality. But if they are impacting on his ability to pass the ball where he intends to then he should retire tonight.

They need a rocket up their arses because another dogshit result is heading our way if we don’t step it up. It’s dross performance after dross performance currently with only moments of quality.

Another one-sided refereeing performance; booked Gundogan at the first opportunity, let theirs off for kicking the ball away, which should be a mandatory yellow.

Newcastle defending well, us not so much.
Tbh can’t blame the ref for that performance
