For the BBC to use yesterdays attack as some kind of cop out for not getting the interview with Boris Johnson is a disgrace. They should be ashamed of themselves, just admit you fucked up instead.

They are apologising for him again. Not questioning why he has a penchant for avoiding anyone or anything that asks him uncomfortable truths rather than spun pr.

I don't blame Boris for this I blame the lack of professionalism at the BBC, Boris doesn't need to do that interview Corbyn had his campaign derailed by it. Can call Boris a chicken or whatever but it won't harm him as much as getting torn a new one by Andy.

I solely blame the BBC and for them to use yesterday as a reason is too much.

Agreed, he should have stepped down after 2017 personally as he is too easy to spin, but the members wanted to keep him and now they will reap what they sowed.

I just think Britain isn't ready to shift that far to the left and I doubt it ever will.
Starmer with the same policies would be ahead in the polls.

All of that is correct, but doesn’t undermine my point. Corbyn will not deal with this well imo.
Don't have a problem with Jezza, if he's the commie everyone say's he is, this bastard would have been accommodated in deepest Siberia in a Gulag ages ago, alternatively he would have been bumped off sooner, whereas Boris just let's them walk in the back door !

Not a lie. There is plenty of evidence.

Knock yourself out reading page after page after page of the stuff.

All politicians lie. Politician is a synonym for liar.
That's twice you've posted the link. There might be something in there but I gave up after (a) a Tory paper making a story about the KKK welcoming Corbyn as Labour leader because David Duke believed the nonsense in the Tory papers and (b) making a story about his saying Jewish newspapers had power and influence in their communities in the context of many immigrant communities having their own newspapers.

It's a different point but when did you last lie? Did anyone scrutinise your lie? Being caught lying used to be a worry for politicians because there were consequences for lying. Johnson has wrecked that theory.

Isn't one of the great British responses to terrorism that we don't give in by letting it disrupt normal life? He will now be bottler Johnson cowed by terrorism.

always going to happen, the BBC have already substituted footage of him too hungover to lay a wreath at the cenotaph with an old clip and cut out the laughter of the audience at his performance in an actual debate. They were always going to cave.

Nah, all politicians lie. They always have. It's just the YouTube age that allows them to be spotted so easily these days. It's normally only clear double standards that catch politicians out big time these days.

I don't think anyone cares.

Most people don't even watch the news let alone participate in politics.

Take the QT special with Boris and Corbyn, only 7m watched that, barely 10% of the population.

So politicians can afford to lie because no-one is really listening.

There's plenty in there. Most of the incidents are documented. From Panorama to heckling Jewish MPs and Corbanystas criticising people who have the temerity to protest about it.
Not applicable to you, but If people can't can't be bothered going through it then don't say there isn't any real evidence. There is plenty of it.

That's speculation obviously, but I agree he'd be ahead of where Corbyn is. But whether he'd be ahead of Johnson? Not sure.

The country has not widely supported such left wing policies for 50 years, so it's a stretch to just assume a majority would now. Plus, it discounts the fact that very obviously there's a bunch of Leavers across the whole political spectrum who will not vote for any party which is disrespecting the 2016 result. My suspicion is anyone from Labour with those policies would still be behind. It's not coincidence that much more right wing policies won Labour 3 successive election victories, whereas further left policies haven't won any.

is he locked in the same room as Rees mogg and dianne abbott? Not seen much of him this election.

Surprisingly absent and my take is he is looking to dethrone Corbyn come the inevitable defeat and Tory majority and is staying clear of the campaign so as not to damage himself with it.
