Burnley (A) Post Match Thread

We win 4-1 and people are taking turns to dig at Gundogan, who didn't even play.

Very impressive performance tonight anyway.

Its not a dig to point out the obvious differences in performances with him int he team and him not in it tonight...defensively we were so much more soild against a very awkward physical team

Rodri could have been MOTM and he offers so much more than Gundogan especially when there is going to be a bit of a battle on the pitch

More happy with the performance than I am in the result in a strange way. We needed a game where we won in style and get confidence back in the side. We looked back to ourselves tonight.
Tonight actually went perfect, Sterling didnt get his 5th yellow, KDB, Sterling and Fernandinho got subbed ahead of the derby. Top performance blues, Feel much better now going into Saturday that we'll stuff these rags.
Rodri tonight was immense, Best performance in a City shirt.

Spot on, we play like that most games and there will only be one winner.

Concentrate on ourselves, play our football and see where it takes us.

Not celebrated a goal like Jesus's first in a while. Been a joke the past few weeks how loads of blues have piled in on him; he's shite, he can't wipe Aguero's arse, he doesn't suit wearing shorts, he's this, he's that.

He's twenty fucking two years old and those were his 51st and 52nd goals for us tonight. Get in there Gabby lad.

Great performances from Angelino, Fern and Ota were spraying passes beautifully and Walker was good too. Rodri, great.

Whatever happens in the league, we need to keep blooding these young players like Angelino, Foden, Jesus and Rodri as they are the future and fingers crossed we will hit our peak in February when Laporte returns and fingers crossed we might get fortunate and win a domestic cup double (or even more!)

Come on the blues.
