Amazon prime

I like the Gaurdian.

This is spot on. We might not want to hear it but there is an impact of companies like Amazon. In 10 years time when our high streets offer nothing but fast food, betting shops and off licenses it will be because we choose not to listen to these sneering morally superior tone journalists. And they didn't even mention the tax dodging.
The MUG were commenting about the commercialisation of football, and yet their own football coverage is completely distorted as a result of commercial bias, or bias of some sort. It's hypocrisy.

I am interested in what they are writing about but I'm glad that blues are no longer contributing to their journalism and profits.

I don't like the Guardian because I don't like being patronized by knobhead Journalists with their antiquated and incorrect view of the world.

I'd say the impact of companies like Amazon is overwhelmingly positive; they are thriving because they are giving us what we want.

We will have the High Street you describe because Woolworths and the like did not meet our needs. It is the High Street we created by the choices we made.

What a load of bollocks that article was. I thought the coverage was excellent and the Amazon Prime logo was everywhere including all the advert breaks. It's not surprising the Guardian hates Amazon. They hate all successful businesses and their journalists have a sneering morally superior tone in everything they write.

The line that genuinely annoys me - "Amazon is not doing this for love of the game".

Literally no one is in football for the love of the game except fans, and maybe a few of the elite level managers like Pep and Mourinho. Everyone else - players, TV companies, Jonathan Liew and co. are in it for the money.

We don't need to be told Amazon aren't some benevolent giant.

Think that might stand for; High Def Recording but could well be wrong.

High Dynamic Range - makes the blacks blacker and the whites whiter. Most cameras cannot mimic the range that the human eye can see so you either get the shadows so dark that you cannot see anything in them or the highlights blown out so they are all maxxed out. HDR is a technique to allow the camera to show both shadows and highlights in better definition than usual. Most phones can do it these days as well but do it by taking two photos with different exposures to capture the shadows and highlights and then combining them.
