La la la la la la la la la la Nothing to do with Brexit or the announcement that the Conservatives have lied again and that there will be customs checks( and associated costs) between Northern Ireland, the Eu and Britain la la la la la la la la la la

(Fingers in your ears as you repeat this )

I see stobbart has been saved , may be I can claim it’s all to do with the success of brexit.

Lalala lalallalla lalalalala

Haha never had you down as being so right wing thought you was centrist, shows what I know! There are a few on here pretending they are centrist instead of just admitting they are right wing.
Pretty everyone is right wing compared with Corbyn and McDonnell.

Not really. You missed the point as usual.

The point being that in spite of knowing that Johnson tells lies you're happy with his poxy WA and the implications on the UK union spelt out by HMT, or do you think that those implications are scaremongering?
No I didn't - but I suggest that you are missing the 'bigger point' - maybe deliberately - maybe not.

You ask: Happy with WA? - no I am sure a much better job could have been done if professionals committed to Leaving had run the negotiations rather than the utterly incompetent Robbins. But we are where we are - so let's get this banked and moe on/forwards

You ask: implications for the Union? - yeah - in the round. I - along with many others were predicting this type of model a long time ago - and do not see it as big a deal as some try to make it out to be. In the main I think that the issues are deliberately over-stated by the usual suspects - including some posters on hee - simply becuase they have never accepted the Leave vote are still seeking to get Brexit stopped. Just continuing bitterness....

As you are one of those that 'have not gotten over it' then I am not surprised that you are clutching at straws.....

Yup i'd rather hung parliaments where everything is scrutinised properly before being implemented at the moment. Instead of a party getting a majority and doing what ever they please, because we know the majority of the time they don't stick to their promises.

Brexit NI Scottish independence and momentum are causing Huge headaches that will make a left leaning coalition extremely difficult to not only happen but pull together. If the choice is Corbyn Lib Dem’s and SNP vs a Tory Majority fuck me that’s some god awful choice.

This has just been on itv news. He’s been caught out badly here because he denied it in a press conference and then he sent his MPs received an email specifically saying YES there will be checks.

It’s got to the point where audiences now laugh at them, interviewers pretty much call them liars and the general feeling of the public is we are faced with nothing but bad choices. Even the most dedicated followers of parties on here know deep down their own lot have some serious issues. We cannot move forward unless people admit they’re standing in shit. Holding your nose and closing your eyes is not a solution.

We get the government we deserve. The stitching that holds this patchwork quilt of a nation together, with its various nationalities, interests and classes, has rotted away.

Making fun of our politicians is all very well, but all they're doing is holding up a mirror to ourselves.

You’re being harsh, some of them did say it was bad and some tried to run away. A couple were definitely bluemooners denial, deflection blaming the source etc...

You could flip it the other way round with Johnson and some selfish Tory supporting twats. It was a good video showing the hopelessness of discussing politics with dumb tribal members of the public.
Yeah - I agree with that

I loved the lady that was wanting him not to include footage of her - she probably has seen the ridicule of that 'crying girl' - Emily? and wanted to avoid that level of ridicule.

So you are saying that Her Majesty's Treasury are one of the usual suspects making a big deal of something that isn't.
Laughable.

I think that’s debatable obviously lots of the public are just painfully stupid but the system because it needs a winner forces people to pick a side

Nope - I clearly did not say that - your desperation continues I see

You always embarrass yourself when you flounder about trying to twist things to mean something else

My fault - I made the mistake of replying to one of your posts rather than just 'liking' it.

Stupidly, I have now opened the door to you latching onto me again in your neediness.

My bad

Don't agree with you on most things but do on this. We've become a nation of selfish, self serving fuckers, (not everyone obviously) and that's what we have running the country regardless of who sits in power.

Now, now, now, more, more, more.

Most aren't happy no matter what they've got. Sad really.

I think you're confusing yourself.

The point was quite simple that HMT thinks the WA has serious consequences for the union.

You have said that you both agree with this assessment and also disagree with it.

Your dis-ingenuousness is apparent to all.

I'll ignore the pathetic abuse.

Politics doesn't operate in a vacuum. We're not going to end up with a right wing buffoon in Downing Street because he's the least worst choice forced upon us, he's there because his politics is a reflection of us, at least enough of us to get the fat fool over the line in our first past the post system.

Its a cop-out to scream a pox on all their houses, to bemoan stupid people. Take a look at worsley, he's many things but he's not stupid, he knows precisely why he's voting for Boris, and he's not alone.

the speed and chasing of news stories also saddens me. There is no time to digest anything.

look at today’s this morning channel 4 does a video claiming he was racist. Twitterspehere goes into overdrive

negative Boris story

it was clearly talent channel 4 apologises and it’s a mistake.

now a positive Boris story and reinforces his argument that channel4 is anti Tory and biased news platform.

bonkers.

This is a good point.

I wouldn’t normally for either Johnson or Corbyn but we’re left in a situation where it’s a choice between one or the other.

I love the concept of politicians not lying. Sadly, every single one of them does - no exceptions! Politician is a synonym for liar. Here are a pack of them from Remainers...

This is a brilliant video really.

We absolutely could end up with a right wing buffoon in Downing Street because he’s the least worst choice. That seems like a lot of people’s view. I don’t think it will happen but whatever % of votes the Tories or Labour get they should be getting less if we base on it people actually liking them.
