thought walker did himself jusitce and again i thoght Ferna did ok out of position

Sterling at elast tried

The rest (Including KDB) were very very poor.

Walker easy, thought he showed a set of swingers and his recovery runs were phenomenal. The rest of them can fuck off tonight (apart from Eddie). It really pisses me off when people say about walker - "because he's fast". Yeah, he is and he uses that to get higher up the pitch and know he can get back, so he can both defend and attack - look at the state of Angelino tonight trying to get back, like running in treacle but people say he can out a good cross in - fuck all use if it's cleared and the opposition winger coasts forward unchallenged. You don't hear people say a centreback is "only good in the air cos he's tall and has a good leap, otherwise he'd be shite at heading balls" or "he's only a good striker cos he can shoot", in fact as a striker it's a badge of honour to be shite in open play but have and instinct to "be in the right place" a la linekar, gerd Muller etc. Walkers positional sense sometimes isn't great but he compensates with pure work rate, dedication and great speed. I want that type of player in my team all day, every day.

Totally agree pal. Questions go to be asked why the club felt compelled to spend £60m on another right back when we’ve got 3 very average ones on the other side.
