Your choice obviously ..... personally I've always looked at policies and not personalities ,,,,, however it does seem that a large number of people prefer to vote for a lying, opportunistic, racist, homophobic , womanising bloke who denies the existence of his own children over and above the policies of a party that are trying to improve the lives of the people of the UK whilst also attempting to resolve the rubiks cube that is Brexit.

Strange times

You talk like Corbyn and Co. are the new Jesus and his disciples... pretty ironic based on their issues

Afraid there'll be no happy ending to Jezzer & his Throwback's fairy story of gaining power on Thursday

Nah, the Civil Service wants to build and run an empire and the only way to do that since the demise of the British Empire is via the EU.

I was giving a presentation in the Department of Justice on the day Gina Miller won her first court victory and there was a whopping and a hollering throughout the building with fist pumping and high fives all round. That was the event that convinced me that Brexit had to be delivered - even though I voted Remain - democracy was more important.

You realise the Civil Service will be larger outside of the EU ?

As for democracy I’m not partial to the bought and paid for kind.

Yeah but that isn't the point, Labour are a threat to Brexit happening at all.

I'll just ask, why would you vote Labour if you voted for Brexit and want Brexit to go ahead in some form or another?

Why would you also vote Labour in the knowledge that they will negotiate a deal that at heart they will tell the public to reject?

Labour are not an option for the working class public that voted for Brexit.

The truth that will hit Liebour in the face very early on Friday morning when the voters they betrayed strike back.

Are the BBC turning?

Just watched Jo Coburn rinse the tory party chairman about the famous page 48 of their manifesto.

Boris fucking Neil off has given them some balls back.

No, this election is because parliament has been in denial.
Some members of that parliament are going to see the results of that.

The Parliament was the result of the 2017 election. On 22nd October it finally agreed to the second reading of the Withdrawal Agreement paving the way to allow the necessary legislation to go through. Johnson declined to take this further and pushed for an election instead.

We are now holding an election based on a con on one side and a fantastical myriad of spending plans on the other. Both have ignored what is to come. We are all ignoring it. We are in collective denial.

Absolute and utter bullshit, Chavez went around the country pointing at industries and businesses, saying
'Expropriate it.' The massive flight of people and the collapse of the economy, with the resultant dreadful shortages
is what followed.

Now now, that's not quite true, is it? During Chavez's term oil prices skyrocketed, so his government could afford to share the wealth with its people having the world's biggest oil reserves, even now. But, after his passing the oil prices dropped and Maduro didn't adjust towards the new change and as Venezuela only had its currency in oil, this is where it went wrong.

McDonnell recognises this and this is what he references to in that video clip about 'made a few mistakes'.

We do not have oil reserve currency, so that's not going to affect anything, but the principle of wealth distribution remains the same. Contribution to raise the standard of the nation and its people.

One things for sure once the Tories get back in the economy is not going to improve.
Poverty and homelessness will increase except it won't just be single blokes begging ,it will be women and children.
The Tories solution?
Bring back the workhouse ( renamed and repackaged of course).
Raaaaaaaab was formerly a member of a Facebook group calling for this.
The building construction will be funded by the Government at taxpayer's expenses under contracts let to building companies who will make a killing for their bosses and shareholders.
The rules of the workhouse will be similar to those in Victorian times - conditions should better than being on the street but harsh enough to force people back into the outside world and so forced work will be introduced ( the modern day equivalent of rope making for example, the treadmill even) and there will be strict segregation of families. Maybe the elderly could be housed in there rather than care homes?
Think this is a bit far fetched? Well who would have predicted hundreds of food banks ten years ago?
And then what about the new Tory working class voters, still in their shitty low paid jobs?
Well the trick there will be to repeat the mantra ' you're better in work than out' . This is already the Tory message and while it may have some validity in the short term , in the long term it becomes a major problem as the real aspiration has to be well paid work in skilled jobs.
The next Tory priority will be to seek scapegoats for the impoverished state of the country. These will be the usual suspects - immigrants, foreigners, EU, Labour, LGBT communities, religious minorities, travellers ( this has already started),the work-shy ( remember Osborne's twitching curtains jibe). It doesn't matter who as long as sufficient hatred can be whipped up to form a focal point for people's anger to serve as a distraction.
Welcome to the new Britain.
Brexit Britain.
Britain fired by the Tories.
Too late to pull it back now, the string's broke.

Very good and accurate post.

Sadly you omit to mention that labour are no better just different.

Boris will get in and its largely the fault of the lefties dragging labour away from the centre. So its a hearty well done to them for opening gates of hell and letting the devil run amok. Brilliant.

Johnson's WA got through, then yet another remainer, Letwin, stymied it with yet another spanner in the works.
At that stage, Johnson, plus everyone who had seen their shenanigans one time too often, lost patience.
Labour, on hearing the news that looks like their demise, also frantically tried to get kids and foreigners to vote, thankfully, it
was thrown out.
We voted for Brexit three and a half years ago and have watched in ever mounting frustration as a remain dominated
parliament, groups of democracy deniers, and the likes of that arsehole with nothing better to do than adorn himself in EU fancy dress and scream
NO BREXIT at everyone, trying their level best to kill off our vote.
This GE is the reckoning.

Ah well never mind eh Len.
Don’t get ill, mate. 1st week of December saw 5000 people waiting over 12 hours in emergency departments.
In more genius news, the one thing that the NHS has that no other system has in the same way, is data. Using that data for patient good and improving efficiency is absolutely key and agreeing a deal with a company to make sense of it all, might be a very good idea. Good idea that Hancock has had then in deciding to give it to Amazon, for free. He said, it’ll ‘enable Alexa to offer expert help and mean that it’ll reduce pressure on the GP’.
Still, it’ll be fine as long as you can afford to go private.
