what’s that got to do with a post asking about his successor. Or do you think he will never leave?

Perhaps we are writing off Sergio a bit to soon. Vardy (32) is older and having a great season, the same age Mr Messi and you would still buy him if he was available.
I know Pep demands defensive duties but perhaps a little less of that and little more goal poaching might prolong his career with us?

No one is writing him off, but we can't let the David Silva situation happen with Sergio. Age has caught up with Silva's legs and it's so sad to see.

We have to be ready when a replacement for Sergio is available, it's almost an impossible task, and one that is going to cost 100m plus of the queens finest.

Personally I hope we break the bank for Kylian Mbappé, the finest talent of this generation and a player who could be our figurehead for years.

Never gamble on one player, say he gets a ACL injury like Gundogan, Mendy, KDB or Laporte have in the last two seasons. The team and squad is far more important, you're only as good as your weakest link.
