January defenders

Thought tolmie says we aren't signing a defender in another thread . Is he ever wrong on his into ?

Tosin bk from Blackburn plenty of good stuff being said about him lately and something I didn't know he's 6ft 5 would add some much needed height

Agent is probably using City's name to try to get another club to bid higher for him.

Tosin could definitely be a late developer but for now he is doing fine at Blackburn. I could see one of the promoted teams coming in for him. I see a small fee but buy back/sell on clause just to cover ourselves.

Jean-Claire Todibo at Barcelona. 19 year old (20 by January), tall, fast, great on the ball. Barely getting a sniff under Valverde and potentially off to Milan for 25 million in January.

The kid has all the potential in the world and is physically ready to play at the top level, bossed Inter in the champions league last week and was already a starter in the French league at 18.

Also young enough not to take up a squad spot in domestic comps.

City were looking at Todibo this time last year but he agreed to sign for Barca in December last year who signed him from Toulouse. He is good, but not sure he is being considered anymore.

Watching Dortmund-Leipzig and I'm impressed with Upamecano so far. Seems very solid defensively and great with his feet. Young as well, definitely potential to be world class or so I've heard.

Was having a stinker at the beginning of the season, something has clicked because he is back to his best putting in some top top displays, a right footer playing on the left suggests he could play both to a top standard which is what we want, i can not see his club letting him go though now, a month ago they might of
Konate is still there a huge talent he was playing awful before his injury but worth keeping an eye on

Manchester City and Real Madrid have contacted the agent of PSG central defender Marquinhos.

The Brazilian is yet to sign a new deal with the French side, having failed to agree on a new wage. However, his priority is to remain in Paris.

Probably no chance of this happening, so I haven't made a thread about him. Marquinhos would be an unbelievable signing though I think. He's shown he's actually pretty good in midfield too, and he's still only 25.

He'd be a brilliant signing and ticks all boxes except height, but he got an impressive leap to him. Probably the best CB with the ball at his feet and is actually able to defend unlike Stones. Young as well.

Wow 25 only...seems like he been around forever. Still think we won't sign anyone in Jan unless Laporte has an injury setback
