I dunno. I mean I only have a sample size of 1, i.e. me. But I do care a bit about the plight of NI. It's unfortunate it will be inevitably be treated slightly differently to the rest of the UK, but Brexit is an unsquarable circle and something has to give. I don't think it's right to avoid it simply to keep NI residents - and only a proportion of them at that - happy.
Oh i totally agree....but to say that 64 million people think this, is wishful thinking. Lets be honest, the VAST majority of people neither understand the added complexity of NI nor give a toss enough to have an opinion on it. Theyd gladly just ignore the issue or just give "us" up (cos thats how we're seen...as something GB can just give away.)
Tbh, im not really arsed any more....ive never been scared of a united ireland....quite like the idea in many ways....but as has been discussed before, a UI is not what many would expect.
