Same here. Looks like a lightweight set-up built more for speed than a physical battle but should have the beating of Everton. I like it except for between the posts.

They lined up 5-4-1 last game I wouldn’t be opposed to matching that given the players that probably need a rest and what we have to come in.
I’m assuming nobody else is injured or fit from tonight’s squad.

Options to change the midfield as Pep see’s fit, can either have the two roaming behind the striker or go with a diamond with gundogan at the base, Foden and kdb either side and mahrez behind the striker. It fairly seamlessly drops back into our more preferred formation too with minor adjustments.

Walker and Bernardo have worked their arses off and need rotating out, ideally Fernandinho and kdb do too but that’s not really achievable and will have to wait until weekend. Sterling has been piss poor of late and can do with the rest.

Keeper aside I am finally in Peps mind!!!

I really hope Foden has a good game, Mahrez needs to step up and perform today. Move the ball quickly and retention is key today. There’s quite a few changes, but didn’t expect to see Mendy ruining the team sheet. If we can keep them away from our box we should win today.
