A small part of me still hopes Mendy can be the saviour at LB. Yes two years of terrible injuries but if he can stay fit there is potentially a great player in there.

Thing is, I don't think Pep minds Mendy as he is.

I think Matic has given them a bit more backbone in the middle which has made the no-striker formation less effective.

I'd get one of the strikers on, change things up because the players don't seem able to cope with us changing the point of attack, they needed half time to get a grip on this.
