Ok more midweek cup games!

It’s been a disaster in Scotland. It was just an excuse to allow Celtic and Sevco to play money spinning friendlies in the Far East and elsewhere.

Half the time the weather in early January has been fine and they come back to Baltic conditions in late January early February.

In any even replays from the Fifth Round onwards were scrapped last season (if not earlier).

The answer is more rotation not silly five day ‘breaks’!

13 days break. Nothing to do with weather, call it a mid season break if you like a chance for a bit of relaxation, get rid of niggles. Works perfectly well in most countries.

Playing friendlies is banned during the break.

Exactly, nobody knows when the worse weather will happen. It even snowed in spring and stopped a Derbyshire/Lancashire cricket match some years ago. A well meaning but ultimately daft idea.

Would be a stupid argument considering we got slapped up by Liverpool in the CL after going on one of them stupid warm weather training camps

The answer should be fewer international games. There’d be plenty of time for players to rest up if it weren’t for these meaningless fucking borefests.
