One of those games, we dominate and concede against the run of play. We still have time to come back, I can’t imagine losing against Palace again at home !
 
Have we even won a game with gundog and silva playing together this season? Sterling the invisible man. Get Foden on to bring a bit of energy into that midfield. On another note De Bryune is sublime to watch, on another level
 
seen this before this season, need a big improvement in the 2nd. Sterling continues to be poor for us, going on too long now...shouldn't be starting at the moment ahead of others.
Poor defending from that corner from quite a few players.
Time to turn it around though
 
Gundogan and David taking two spots in a three man midfield again against shite opposition and we find ourselves down at half time. I don't even think we're playing too badly in possession but the gaps in midfield when the ball is loose are huge.

Gundogan moved up as you are supposed too. John missed the header and Kevin was ball watching and kept the strikers onside.

Gundogan doesn't have an error there

I get that but he can clearly see kev is playing everyone onside....

The only good thing from that low tempo, uninspiring performance is that Pep should get into them at half time.

I’m expecting a revised formation and at least one substitution at the break.

High intensity second half and dispatch these c**ts back down to London with their tails between their legs.

I have a really bad feeling that CP will win this with massive time wasting, falling over at the slightest contact and just pack the box.
We seemed unable to break that down. We have had numerous chances to put the ball away but still feel we have to get within 6 yards to score.
Sterling offered very little that half, Merlin isn’t quick enough and that’s sad, Gundogan is poor and he’s slowing our attack when he gets involved when we regain the ball and they’re out of position.
I really hope the lads can prove me wrong, but I think CP will just defend in numbers again now.
 
Dominate and create a few chances but don't take them and the opposition score with their first real attempt. I think we've played some nice football but have been a bit guilty of overplaying at times. Sterling still isn't really finding any form. Not sure what's happened to him of late.

I'd probably look at getting Mahrez and Jesus on and moving Bernardo inside. Still plenty of time to turn this around and we should do if we just sharpen our play up a bit.
 
Silva or gundo off for rodri, sterling off for mahrez or jesus and we will be laughing. I genuinly think its that easy. But I predict a straight Aguero-Jesus sub at 65 mins

Because he'd be useless, CP are not playing through the middle and would therefore obviate his defensive skills. CP are rather trying to catch us on the break long. Better to Gundo in there for his passing ability.
 
Going to be difficult to come from behind in this one, We're struggling to break them down to be honest they are defending well.
We need to get Mahrez and Rodri on.
Still a long way to go. Come on blues!

P.S. John Stones is fucking garbage.
