Not a great performance but a couple of better passes to him and he'd have a few goals.

Not comparable players in nearly every sense but he really has that Sterling knack for getting into goalscoring positions.
 
He was a lot better when he moved inside.

His best skills are difficult to attribute to our system. A little like Kdb , kdb,s attributes of crossing from the right, of which he is brilliant , and also cutting in from the left to shoot , are difficult to put in a system. Similarly Foden is brilliant at receiving a ball, and turning, from the right of goal. Also running with the ball from the left..When played in certain positions these strengths are nullified. Similar as to when Bernado has to play wide.
But the needs of a pep team means certain players strengths are nullified.
As another poster said every game is a learning experience for Foden.
 
He was poor today. There've been a few games against Championship opposition where he’s just blended in with the average quality of the players across both teams.
