We've seen enough triumphalism in 2019 from the remainers.

it sucked for us, and i'm guessing this leaver triumphalism sucks for you, or you'd not be mentioning it.
Hopefully now you'll understand the message of moving on and coming together instead of retaining these tribal positions.
Don't worry, there are many reasonable leavers out there who share your view not to be too bombastic. We want unity, not Farage's brand of yah-boo-shucks-to-you.
I’ve looked in from the outside. I’m neither a remainer nor a brexiter.
Being Irish I have an interest naturally, as it affects us.
TBH I’ve seen equally abhorrent behaviour from both sides in here and I’ve let you get on with it.
I’ve seen tons of hypocrisy and lack of self awareness from both sides and stayed out of it.

Good luck to you all, but you can justify classless behaviour in any form, which in my view is what I’ve seen on the news over the last couple of nights and I’ll comment on it as it’s topical in this thread.

I don’t see anything wrong with Brexit parties. It does seem fitting to mark the occasion which is historical after all.
I think the triumphalism that is being displayed by what I imagine is a small minority is totally counterproductive.
Don’t see who it benefits.
Just my opinion, but I find it totally classless. Gobshites.

Now go enjoy your party. Or mark the occasion whichever way you choose.

Fuck 'em.

Isn't that the 48%'s attitude towards the 52% tonight?

You can pick and choose your outrage but the truth is none of you have acted any better.

48% ad 52% don't matter any more, that was 3 years ago in the GE a brexit government was elected, that is the countries mandate the referendum no longer matters.

We are leaving remainers need to stop crying and get on with making the government accountable to whats next

There is why the country will never come together again
This country has been a hot bed of anger, racism, pure hatred for years over this
For the record i don't know any remainers who have sunk to that level,i certainly haven't,what i have read on here is the leavers acting badly

Precisely, and I assure you, level headed leave supporters will be doing the exact same thing as we don't want anyone, be they British or EU citizens, to "suffer".

It's a shame then that so many have been throwing around the "nazi" tag again on social media, i've found. How that helps matters, i've no idea, but it is what it is ans we leavers will take it in the same humour we always have.

I can understand people voting the way they did but in many ways, I think it was a mistake but I think the EU will be better off without us anyway.

Then you should see things from a leaver perspective; they have. A credit to you that you haven't, hence why I show no animosity towards you on this matter.

It hasn't been pleasent, being accused of something so heinous and a lot of the "celebrations" tonight are aimed at them, not necessarily the EU. Just as Farage acted with no class, neither have many of our own citizens. I assume you saw Terry Christian's abysmal display on GMB recently?

It's the result of grudges, long going disputes, and antagonistic behaviours. It's dominated the debate and has been admittedly pathetic, and I include myself in that but hey, i'm only human. Hopefully we can all move forward and seek what is best for the country and the people. That may even include rejoining at some point, but i'm not as pessimistic as some to suggest rejoining should be as sudden as others might claim.

Aye but I am still in brussels chilling with our fellow europeans, we are european and always will be whether in the EU or not.

Mock the working class = Brexit

Mock the working class = Tory majority

It’s as if people don’t learn.
No room to enjoy a well done parody tonight?

Even I am attempting to put politics aside and try to enjoy what’s left of Friday.

For their European Superstate project, it's a blessing. We were the main obstruction holding it back.

Now there is no obstruction, which is why many nations in the EU have sent their heartfelt sorrow at our departure. There is nothing stopping the EU becoming what it always attained to be now. That is the biggest regret, but at least we will have no part of it. It was never our place to dictate that future of Europe, it had to be decided by it's members and apparently, it's what the majority wanted, even when we didn't.

You might consider yourself to be.

I absolutely do not, and in the end that's what this decision came down to.

Word of advice, get off social media.

This forum isn’t really the same, I’m talking Facebook, instagram and Twitter.

It’s killing people’s mental health and breeding twats.
